HIGHLIGHTS:
Founded in 1990 by a group of private investors, Hallmark Insights
(formerly Gift Certificate Center) was one of the first businesses to
provide gift certificates using automated technology.
Issuing gift certificates first through kiosks (much like a cash
machine) at many retail locations throughout the U.S., Hallmark
Insights changed the business in 1996 to concentrate on their
successful business-to-business incentive programs for corporate
clients. The Premiere Choice Award web site targeted business-tobusiness sales incentives and recognition clients with online ordering
and tracking. The Reward Choice Certificate, launched in Fall 2003,
concentrated on a growing number of companies rewarding their
customers with gift cards and certificates.
Hallmark Insights is experiencing double-digit growth due to its
