NECC logos can be used on uniforms/warm-ups but be sure to check NCAA guidelines for rules on location and size.

Christa’s deadlines (see below) need to be adhered to so she can find/fix any mistakes. ii.
Regardless of Presto upgrades, Christa still needs packed game files and captured files b.
Conference Requirements and Deadlines i.
Players of the week: 9:00 PM on Sunday

Do online for all sports possible
2.
If there are more than three games in a week, need to email POW/ROW forms, instead of doing them online ii.
Statistics: 12:00 PM on Monday iii.
If there is a problem, call or email Christa and she can extend the deadline for you, but you need to communicate! c.
NECC Athletics On-line Reporting and Scheduling i.
Names of institutions can be customized on schedule, but make sure you also select the drop down option to keep the schedules linked. d.
Weekly Reporting and Nominating i.
Same guidelines as in 2008-2009 ii.
Get Christa the information she needs so her and Del can make the best judgment

Roster Setup Information

Uniform numbers: use “01”, etc. for single digit numbers a.
Do not let players switch numbers (against NCAA rules and policies – exceptions may be made for blood issues, etc.)

Keep consistency with names (i.e. Jen/Jenny) to have accurate career statistics

Be careful with goalie switches in soccer a.
Cannot pull goalie out and have them take jersey # of someone already in the game

NECC Awards, Policies, and Process a.
Presto Sports On-line Awards Set-up i.
Working on making it cleaner but for now, it is recommended that you work with each coach to be sure it is done correctly vs. just letting them log in on their own. b.
Player of the week: make sure you’re nominating i.
If coach does not support awards, consult your AD ii.
Encourage coaches to belong to professional organizations so that their studentathletes are eligible for different types of awards

Keep in mind the legitimacy of the organizations you link yourself to – they are a reflection of your program/department. c.
All Conference & Specialty Awards i.
Addition of “Student-Athlete of the Year” award

Drafting criteria – minimum GPA, external activities, national honor societies, minimum number of games, inclusion of faculty athletic representative in selection process

Conversation about including sophomores in the Commissioner’s Honor
Roll to stay on par with other conferences in the area a.
Help change the culture and increase graduation rates of athletes – keep them excited about what they’ve accomplished
