Taking years of experience, in both practical project management and understanding of IT and process
requirements to establish own consultancy (formerly Curran Project Controls) that provides interim
management, commercial leadership and consultancy to the construction business. Business focuses on
quantity surveying services, improvement and transformation projects, best practice commercial
management, corporate governance, and astute project management.
Overseeing commercial teams across all aspects of commercial management including NEC contractual
issues, estimating process, subcontractor procurement and management, cost and value reporting,
forecasting, budgetary control, recruitment and ongoing mentoring of staff.
Undertaking extensive analysis of existing systems, processes and reporting techniques, identifying any
gaps or shortcomings, and implementing initiatives to facilitate best practice and introduce enhancements to

annum), personally accountable for cost/value reporting, risk & opportunity, contract issues & supply
chain agreements and bidding process for new work
 Driving collaboration of business units and improvement solutions to align people, processes and
systems, leading a team of senior professionals
 Commercial Consultant, Kent County Council, supporting the implementation of a new Enterprise
contract, collaborating with Heads of Service to prepare new arrangements and payment mechanisms
