This covers the development of communication competence in English with
emphasis on effective reading and writing and listening skills. It is designed to develop
language learning strategies, effective communication techniques, and academic study
skill. Lesson and activities involve development of oral and written communication, and
effective use of reference and resource.

This course is a continuation of Engl1 and covers the development of advance
language skills in critical thinking and problem solving skill. It also provides training on
goal setting, self assessment and monitoring skill, time management strategies and

This course is designed to respond to the needs of students to gain proficiency in
