Materials Needed: Story book, Projector, flashcards, markers, and pictures.

Brainstorming on the shown PPT, flash cards, and

Comprehensible Input:
- Use pictures, props, realias, and TPRS to teach
new vocabularies : 安, 静,白,天,晚, 上 買,
and how to use measure words: 頭,隻,塊
- Read the story to the students using TPR and
gestures to help students understand the 5
animals doing day and night..
Guided Practice:
 Using flash cards to have students make
sentences with new vocabularies: 安, 静,白
,天,晚, 上 買,頭
 Playing quick fingers.
Students will say short sentences applying new
vocabularies and sentence patterns.
E.g.
 上課了,請安静。(PPT-pictures)
 王老先生買了一頭牛(show the picture- Mr.
Wang bought a caw)
 牛白天叫。(Imitating the sound of caw.
 這隻牛白天叫,晚上也叫。(Show pictures of
daytime and evening and ask question about
caw’s sound).

Independent Practice:
Have students play “Q/A” using flash cards in
groups.
Worksheet: Matching.
Evaluation/Assessment/Closure:
 Checking for comprehension during each
activity.
 Have students retell the story with their
shoulder partners.
Based on the pictures of story book, students
will be able to say the following sentences.
