QUALIFICATIONS








EXPERIENCE


To coordinate the contractual and administrative
functions of all learners, including quality monitoring and
control, and the production of management information
Responsible to the Business Development Manager
within Workforce and Skills
Contract administration, monitoring and control
Marketing of service and recruitment onto programme
Coordinate the contractual requirements with regard to
Health and Safety, Equal Opportunities and Information
advice and guidance (IAG) delivery
Produce all learner management information
Responsible for administration of funding contracts
Responsible for processing enquiries, delivering IAG and
recruitment of learners and employers
Participate in funding audits and visits from funding
bodies
Required to meet contractual targets/outputs
Responsible for the Health and Safety inspection to
meet contractual requirements
Sound IT Skills
Minimum Level 3 qualification in appropriate area
Excellent communication skills
Sound knowledge of contract and interpretation
Good Numeracy Skills
Recognised Health and Safety qualification (NEBOSH)
Adult Teaching qualification
Information advice and guidance qualification in line with
SFA requirements and MATRIX accreditation.
Previous experience in contract administration
Previous experience in adult education funding streams

DUTIES & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract administration,
monitoring and control
responsible for
Marketing of service and
recruitment onto programme

The production of monthly provider statements to
funders
 Profiling the number of learners on programme
( reconciliation of monthly provider statements against
online data and monitoring of budget)
 Administrating beneficiary costs
 Logging payments to learners and employers
 Administrating weekly timesheets, travel and childcare
expenses forms
 Production of subcontractor monthly payments.













delivery








Promotion of provision through attendance at
opportunities events
Liaise with school career education,JCP local authorities
and NAS to promote service through marketing or
events
Provide newsletter articles and media articles as
appropriate
Advertise placements and opportunities in collaboration
with partnership agencies
Responsible for interviewing perspective employers and
engaging if appropriate
Responsible for the administration of employer contracts
Initial assessment of employer suitability
Monitor employer participation
Respond to enquiries
Responsible for interviewing potential learners
Responsible for induction of learner on to programme
Responsible for administration of learner contracts
Attend meetings with funding bodies, on issues such as
Health and Safety, Quality, Funding and Equality and
diversity
Carry out H&S audit checks of workplaces & training
sites
Career progression and enhancement information
provided to trainees
Coordinate IAG delivery
Initial assessment of learner education and social needs
Provide trainees with ongoing support in placement
Provide employers with Health and Safety information
Provide learners with Health and Safety information

PERSON SPECIFICATION
ESSENTIAL








DESIRABLE








Qualifications that demonstrate advanced Business
Administration skills, e.g. NVQ Level 3 Business
Administration, HNC Business Administration etc. or
Contractual knowledge
Advanced word processing skills, proof reading skills,
and the ability to draft correspondence
Ability to prepare briefing notes and reports
Ability to organise and interpret Management Information
Excellent interpersonal skills, with a self confident
approach and flexible attitude to the job role
The ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
Proven experience in professionally and confidentially
dealing with people
Knowledge and understanding of Contracts and contract
control
Recognised Health and Safety Qualification
IAG qualification
Recognised teaching qualification for adult education
Previous experience as a contract controller
Relevant Contract law training or qualifications
Knowledge and understanding of financial issues
Supervisory qualifications
Previous experience in Adult Education
