He doesn’t have the quickest first step but that is not that important. Scott is a 3 down back and would work great on short downs because of his size and intensity. He exhibits good balance in order to get the most out of a play when it breaks down. SECTION GRADE: 6.1 He exhibits mental and physical toughness. The type of running he does, puts him in the position to receive a lot of punishment; and he keeps on going. He comes in clutch on short yardage and goal line stance. He is a 3 down back and could stay in for all 4 downs if needed. However, he does miss holes and prime opportunities to make the big play. He is devoted team player all he wants to do is win and get to the BCS championship game, he has a no quit mentality. SECTION GRADE: 5.8 Scott should not have any issue learning the NFL playbooks. Scott should also be ok with his inst/reaction. I have a concern with his blocking mainly because of the offense they run in Lousiana, so I will need to see more of that. Solid concentration, very smart player. SECTION GRADE: 6.1 Body Type 6.5 Durability 5.5 Explosion 6.5 Play Strength 6.0 He has the perfect body type for the NFL, his durability has not been in questions until this recent collarbone injury. As long as he can get completely healthy he should be ok. However, with the way that he runs he could injury it again. His explosion is his forte and could be his crutch. He is a very powerful and strong runner. Needs more time blocking to make a clear indication on how good or bad he is SUMMARY Charles Scott is a powerful runner, true team player and teammate. He has ability like Chris “Benie” Wells the RB for Arizona. He will be able make plays for any team and help his team win. He is not a starter directly but a great relief back that can spell the starter, and will become a great starter in due time, and even if he gets thrown in before his time he will succeed. Seneca E.
