HCC Basic Eagle Online 2.x Student Training Guide Logging Into Eagle Online 2.x Introduction This document is divided into 3 sections: • Home Page and Logging In • Retrieving Your User ID • Resetting Password • Firefox Browser This document explains how to get to the Learning Management System web page and how to properly log into the system, as well as what to do if you do not remember your username and password. Home Page and Logging In You can get to the Eagle Online Learning Management System (EO) by visiting: http://hccs2.mrooms.net To log in, you need to enter your Username and Password. Your Username is the same as your HCC Active Directory (AD) and HCC Student email Username. Your Password is the same as your HCC Active Directory (AD) and HCC Student email Password. Once entered, click on the Login button. If you have never used Active Directory (AD) or your HCC student email, you must claim your account in the Access Request Management System page: 1. Select the claim your account here link. 2. Select Student Claim Policy from the drop down menu and click the Next button. 3. Enter your W-­‐Number and your Birthdate. NOTE: If you do not know your W-­‐number, you will need to retrieve it before going to the Access Request Management System page: 1. Select the retrieve it here link. 2. Refer to the next section of this document: Retrieving Your User ID. Logging Into Eagle Online 2.x 1 Rev. Date: 8/6/13 Retrieving Your User ID To retrieve your user ID and your Initial Password (if you have NOT made a change to your Initial Password): • Enter your Social Security Number. This number should NOT contain a space or a dash. • Enter your Date Of Birth (example, 03/29/1980). • Click on the Retrieve ID/PWD button. Resetting password If you have forgotten your username or password, select the Forgotten your username or password? Link. To reset your password, submit your username OR your email address in the box provided (DO NOT ENTER BOTH!). An email will be sent to your email address with instructions on how to get access to the system. Firefox Browser You will need to use the FIREFOX web browser when in Eagle Online 2.x.
