Since 2005, Andre Bisson (Hamilton, Ontario) has been entertaining
audiences in Canada, US, Ireland, England, Wales with his 5-7 piece
band. He is known for his up-beat renditions of classic songs (B.B. King,
The Blues Brothers, The Commitments, Motown, Stevie Wonder...). Andre
has been recognized in the blues community for his 5 studio albums
gaining publicity and exposure through radio, blues magazines, and
blues awards throughout the world. He has also performed before great
artists such as Robben Ford, Jimmie Vaughan, Steven Page, and Colin
James.
With the completion of his 5th studio album Bad Scene released on
August 2013, it is clear to hear that Andre has stayed true to his
influences. Combining the driving bass lines of Motown, the raw vocal
power of Stax, and the electrifying horn sections of B.B. King, this album is
sure
to
bring
any
blues
fan
to
their
feet.
This CD has 2 very special guests; Darcy Hepner on Tenor Sax (Blood
Sweat & Tears, Robben Ford) and Jesse O’Brien on B3/Wurlitzer (Colin
James, Ronnie Hawkins). Along with 10 new originals, Andre also pays
tribute to one of the greats with his version of Jimi Hendrix's "Remember".
Andre's CD’s have been nominated for Overseas Artist for the British
Blues Awards, Blues Recording of the Year at the 2009, 2011 and 2013
Hamilton Awards, Voted Best Rhythm & Blues Album of 2009, 2013 by
Blues Underground Network, and Voted Best CD by the Hamilton Blues
Lovers. His albums have also won and have been nominated for many
industry awards including studio, piano, bass, sax, drummer of the year.
Two subsequent releases Rhythm & Blues Christmas and Beyond The
Covers further cemented Bisson’s place as a master in the rhythm and
blues music scene.
While on tour to the UK & Ireland, the band travelled and performed at
festivals such as: The Bentworth Bluesfest, The Worcester Beer, Cider &
Perry Festival, The Sunflowerfest, The Harvest Time Blues Festival and
venues such as the Blues Dragon Rhythm & Blues Club in Cardiff, Wales.
Currently the band is preparing for a UK/European Tour in August 2015
with Andre’s newest album “Bad Scene”. Andre is also working on a

out, contacting local newspapers, television and radio stations to help make each event a success. These are
