Travel & holidays: I love the food in Asia, beaches in Thailand, the historical city of Istanbul, shopping in the US…….the list goes on! I’m afraid of: heights & speed …….. I don’t like being in tall buildings, planes, fast cars and DEFINITELY NO Student Reps – Term 1 roller coasters!! On 1st February, a group of 24 students and 3 teachers went on a tour of Chinatown to experience the atmosphere leading up to Chinese New Year. Red and golden decorations everywhere and big colourful lanterns! Walking around, and enjoying the sights It’s time for lunch……..after all the activity A truly enjoyable trip where students from different levels interacted and spent time with each other! Bringing the ‘Ascend’ community together… Teamie is Ascend’s social learning management system. As a student at Ascend you can access Teamie from any computer that has the Internet. This will allow you to interact with your classmates, students and teachers at Ascend. Teamie is a closed network. Only students who attend Ascend have access to Teamie. So, get your username and password from Lisa, our lab manager (level 5)………..and check Teamie regularly. You can access Teamie from your smart phone too. Download the ‘app’ and start posting interesting things for your friends to read. It source that it makes up the majority of your involves both stealing someone work, whether you give credit or not else's work and lying about it afterwards. 4
