Chinatown Tour – A feast for the senses!
On 1st February, a group of 24 students and 3 teachers went
on a tour of Chinatown to experience the atmosphere leading
up to Chinese New Year.

Bringing the ‘Ascend’ community together…
Teamie is Ascend’s social learning management system. As a student at Ascend you can access
Teamie from any computer that has the Internet. This will allow you to interact with your
classmates, students and teachers at Ascend.
Teamie is a closed network. Only students who attend Ascend
have access to Teamie. So, get your username and password
from Lisa, our lab manager (level 5)………..and check Teamie
regularly.
You can access Teamie from your smart phone too. Download
the ‘app’ and start posting interesting things for your friends
to read. Remember Teamie is here to help us keep in touch and
learn more English together
