ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE COMPUTER SCIENCE Course Selection Guide Updated Fall 2015 This template has been developed by referencing the 2014 Baccalaureate Degree plans or the native student plans posted on the websites of NC Agricultural and Technical U., NCSU, UNC-Chapel Hill, and UNC Greensboro. You, the student, should decide on your major, then look at the requirements at the university of your choice. Students who successfully complete this course of study with an AS degree will have satisfied the General Education requirements at every public university in North Carolina as well as the private colleges which are signatories of the 2014 Comprehensive Articulation Agreement. Students who transfer without the AA or AS degree must complete the General Education core requirements at the receiving institution. General Education – 45 SHC (“Semester Hours of Credit”) Universal General Education Transfer Component (UGETC) Courses (31-32 SHC): UGETC courses are courses which are guaranteed to fulfill a general education component at every public university in North Carolina and at the private colleges that are signatories to the 2014 Comprehensive Articulation Agreement.
