Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for this scholarship, students must:
 demonstrate a record of leadership and service;
 have strong academic abilities, as evidenced by grades and standardized
test scores;
 be attending a Texas high school during the 2014-2015 academic year or be a
home-schooled Texas resident;
 be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. and a Texas resident;
 apply for admission to UTSA by February 1, 2015
 apply for financial aid, using the FAFSA, by March 1, 2015.
Freshman Terry Scholars are required to live on campus. On campus housing applications
and deposits are required upon award of scholarship.
To apply, Terry Freshman Scholarship Applicants must :
 Complete the Texas Common Application for UTSA (Apply Texas)
 Complete the Terry Foundation Freshman Scholarship questions and essays on

 Submit 2 letters of recommendation and an official transcript. Instructions found
