Here are some clues to help you guess which one it is. The country's name means "Little Venice." A scenic beach view. To the north of this country lies the Caribbean Sea and to the east is the Atlantic Ocean. This country has mountains and plains. Some United States Companies even call this country home. Venezuela is the northern most country in South America. Capital City is Caracas. It exports 3/4 of the its oil to other countries. 60% of the oil is shipped to the United States. So in response to less oil being produced, Venezuela also raises cattle, agriculture and mining. Venezuela Caracas is the capital city. Caracas is located in the Merida Range of the Andes Mountains. It does not have a hot humid climate as most of the country does due to its elevation. Simon Bolivar is called the "George Washington of South America." He believed that the countries of South America should be independent. He had read about the United States gaining its independence from Great Britain by winning the Revolutionary War. He lead the way in 1821 for Venezuela to gain independence from Spain. Venezuelan Money Family is the center of Venezuelan life. Most of your free time is spent with your family. It is very common for grandparents to help take care of younger children. Many grandparents may even live with you.
