He played his college baseball at Division I Monmouth University, receiving many accolades along the way. Since ending his career he has dedicated his life to the development of youth baseball players of all ages and skill levels. He has coached American Legion, High School, including his most recent job as the Princeton Day School Pitching Coach, and elite youth travel baseball. To date his travel baseball team has compiled a 157-7 overal record, won Cooperstown Dreams Park twice....and has been ranked as high as #6 in the country by travelballselect.com. He is currently a finalist for the 12u travel ball National Coach of the Year, and considering that he coached the only Northeast team ranked in the top 25 in any age group it's easy to see why. He prides himself on communication skills and teaching techniques that will reach and connect with every type of player. "Anyone can watch a video or make a kid do a drill they saw somewhere. Every field or facility I go to you hear the same phrases and techniques being shouted to students and players, and I'm not saying they are wrong. I just believe that to truly develop a player it starts with his mind and ability to understand what you are trying to accomplish together. I think my biggest strength as a coach is my ability to communicate and motivate players various ways. I learned a long time ago every player is different and responds their own way.... I have to be able to adjust to them, not the other way around. Have the right mindset, and it will directly impact your physical results. It's what I love, it's what I'm good at." -Kevin Schneider
