Page 1 of 2 Import From Rubistar IMPORTING A RUBISTAR RUBRIC RubiStar is a fantastic FREE website developed by ALTEC, a non-profit organization run out of the University of Kansas. RubiStar is a simple but powerful web-based tool to create rubrics that can be printed and then used in a traditional way. Note: Subjective Metrics (the developers of Waypoint) does not support RubiStar beyond these basic instructions. Instructors using Waypoint can import ANY rubric from the RubiStar library (of over 100,000 rubrics) OR a rubric they create through a free RubiStar account. To import a rubric from RubiStar into Waypoint: 1. Log in to Waypoint 2. Open a new browser window and visit: http://rubistar.4teachers.org 3. Use RubiStar to either 1. Search for an existing rubric in their vast library 2. Create an account and make your own rubric Either way, if you find or create a rubric you like, you can import the rubric into Waypoint by using the RubiStar rubric ID number. Here's how: 1.
