Project Management at UCF and Cape Canaveral- Starting March 2012
UCF Continuing Education, in partnership with Seminole State College, is launching two 10 week Project
Management courses this spring. The intensive10 week Project Management Exam Preparation Certificate
Program will be held in both East Orlando on Monday evenings and at Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday
evenings starting the week of March 12, 2012. Tuition is $3,990 ($1,995 per course) which includes
instruction, textbooks and all study materials.
All programs are held weeknights from 5:30-9:30pm and exceed the PMP education requirement of 35 hours of
PM education and passing rates for first time takers is 90%. Payment plans are available and tuition

Set your sights on HR Certification with UCF courses starting this Spring
UCF’s Division of Continuing Education is proud to offer the Professional Human Resource Management
Course this Spring with multiple locations and sessions! This program allows professionals to prepare for the
Professional Human Resource (PHR) and Senior Human Resource (SPHR) certification examinations now held
in East Orlando, Lake Mary, and Brevard/ Cocoa starting in February and March with weeknight and weekend
schedules for busy professionals. NEW online and mobile materials are released this year for the first time
allowing participants to take their learning on the go.

Fiber Optics Certification Training
Become Fiber Optics Certified with an approved Fiber Optics Association (FOA) course at UCF! Participants
can enroll in the three day basic course as well as advanced certification electives to enhance their skills.
Certified Fiber Optics Technician course is January 23-25, 2012 and registration is $700, the Advanced
Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing and Maintenance Course is January 26-27, 2012 and registration is
$675, and the Advanced Certified Fiber Optics Outside Plant Technician course is January 30 – February 1,
2012 and registration is $775. All courses are held in Research Parkway in East Orlando by the UCF Main

Health Care Risk Management Licensure Program – Now ONLINE!
UCF’s Health Care Risk Management Licensure Program has just launched a new entirely online, open-entry
program, perfect for busy health care professionals! Becoming a Licensed Health Care Risk Manager can now
be completed at home, from the office or anywhere with an internet connection. The 120 hour contact program
is approved by the Agency for Health Care Administration and includes 60 hours of online self- paced lectures
and 60 hours of homework, projects, and additional work as assigned. For more information on the eligibility
