A main mission of CUNY is to make a great education
accessible and affordable. When you look at the quality
and cost of a CUNY education, you will see right away that
it is a tremendous value. A CUNY education not only costs
a fraction of what students pay at private institutions, but
beats most public universities, from New York to California.
CUNY students who borrow, on average, owe less after
graduation than their peers at public and private colleges
and universities.
