The RH 1500-3 is a powerful machine for high production applications. In spite

The Multimat RH 1000-2 is an efficient , stationary Single-layer Board
Machine with a medium board size for fully automated production of
Concrete Products. The heavy duty structure as well as the powerful
electronic, pneumatic and mechanical Modules make the RH 1000-2
a reliable and economical machine for the production of high quality
concrete products.
The RH 760, a new generation of machines from the company HESS, opens up a
new dimension for block production.
The overall dimensions of the machine follow those of the competition to that
the RH 760 can easily be erected on existing foundations. Furthermore the machine is designed for a standard plate size of 660 x 470 mm and thanks to a special adapting device all available moulds in stock can be reutilized.

Our patented VarioTronic system consists of a simple mechanical structure and a fully electronic control
which is reliable and extremely accurate. Frequency and amplitude can be adjusted individually and
produce maximum results during mould filling and main compaction.
Using asynchronous servo motors, vibration angles adjust very fast. This causes a short vibration time
and a high product quality is maintained.
The HESS oil-bath vibration features vibrating shafts which are individually mounted in closed housings
which are filled with oil. The system provides
significant advantages:
The HESS Maschinenfabrik GmbH & Co. KG has developed a new, adaptable system for the face concrete
filler box - the planing roller. It is a stell roller replacing the front stripper frame of the filler box. The roller
ist driven by a frequency controlled motor over a chain and independently from the filler box movements.
There are several advantages of paving stones production with planing roller:
The roller prevents that concrete „dug“ out of the mould when the filler box returns to home position. This effect
becomes especially apparent when more wet concrete is used or large-sized pavers are manufactured. Therefor
the planing roller enables the production with particulary wet concrete mixes which achieves on the other hand
improved colour intensity, a more compacted surface and following better compound between a course and face
concrete. As the product surface absorbs less water, a possible spalling of the face concrete layer during frost is

also obviated. Moulds for large-sized paving stones can be charged evenly without repeated forth and back movements of the filler box. This means more efficient cycle times and high-quaity end products.
The Filler box planing roller is available for the RH 2000-3 and RH 1500-3.

The RH 500 has a heavy duty, compact structure with advanced Electronic, Pneumatic and

The positive Height stop allows products to
be produced to a specific, accurate height,

To make the production process of concrete products economical,
efficient transfer and handling systems are neccessary alongside mixing
and production machinery. To transfer, buffer and store fresh and cured
product, HESS offers a wide program of proven solutions.
Especially with respect to paver production, cycletimes under 10 seconds
are no longer a rare occurrence. Therefore, the logistics and the product
flow between the wet and dry sides are deciding factors in the quality and
efficiency of the concrete production.
Fully-automated handling systems, which are designed for individual
customer needs are becoming more and more important in the production
of concrete stone products.

Product treatment - Surface treatment
An integrated surface treatment system for
cured products helps to minimize inventory
and to reduce labour. For the treatment of
shotblasting the equipment can be supplied
inline or out of the inventory.
The treatment washing or brushing of the
product is carried out in the wet line just before the fresh product is transported to the
curing racks.

Technical data of the SM series:
Separate drives for perfect mixing results in the nick of time
Mixers of the SM series provide the perfect solution for making concrete types used in the production of paving blocks
and kerbstones, hollow blocks and plates, and pipes and
manholes as well as precast concrete elements and readymixed concrete. Thanks to their high mixing intensity, planetary mixers are particularly suitable for the production
of concrete types with low water/cement ratios to achieve
earth-moist concrete and self-compacting concrete types.
Many companies all over the world use mixers by SCHLOSSERPFEIFFER with great success. Their outstanding characteristics are:
a very long service life, a high degree of reliability, excellent mixing
performance, and minimum maintenance.
SM series mixers just give better mixing results
According to ISO 18650 definitions, mixing results with a variation
coefficient of under 7.5% are considered adequate. The faster a
low coefficient is achieved, the better the mixer. The SM mixer
actually achieves a coefficient of less than 1%! And at very short
mixing intervals!

The High Speed Machine for High End Performance
The SP RADIALPRESS is a high-speed, high-performance machine for
the manufacturing of concrete pipes in the diameter range i.d. 250 mm
up to i.d. 2000 mm and lengths of up to 3.5 m. It is ideal for the production of reinforced and non-reinforced bell end pipes, jacking pipes
and rocker pipes, pipes with two spigot ends, as well as manhole pipes,
manhole rings and manhole bases.
The concrete is compacted during the course of the radial pressing
process. The pressing action is effected by the rotating pressing tool
consisting of the distributor head, which rotates in the opposite direction of the pressing head. As a result, the torques of distributor head
and pressing head largely cancel each other out, hence ensuring a precise and tension-free embedding of the reinforcement. The machine is
controlled by a Siemens S7 electronic PLC.
The pipe production is fully automatic.
The VARIANT by Schlosser-Pfeiffer produces pipes in all shapes and sizes in
top-rate high-density quality.
The VARIANT by Schlosser-Pfeiffer combines the outstanding compacting qualities of Schlosser-Pfeiffer’s
proprietary vibration technology with a wide choice of sizes and shapes and impresses with its largeness and
strength, which are both prerequisites for producing large-sized pipes.
Each machine is individually adjusted for every application and combines user friendliness with reliability and
easy maintenance. The machine will process just about any product of the user’s choice, making it versatile
and capable of meeting the various and ever-changing market demands.
The VARIANT by Schlosser-Pfeiffer guarantees optimised compacting results for all products, for first-rate

The machine for the production of manhole rings
combines the HESS concrete block machines’
precision with the quality of compaction of the
Schlosser-Pfeiffer vibration technology. The results
speak for themselves: shaft pipes, manhole tapers
or bases with step elements; all shaft products are
made true-to- dimension at short cycle times.
The machine’s stable frame with its proper fourpillar mould guide guarantees the constantly accurate production of manhole elements. All products
are compacted in an optimal way by the use of our
pipe machines’ well-proven vibration technology.
Mould manufacturing
The manufacturing of moulds for HESS machines and for foreign
machines takes place at our subsidiary HMB. HMB produces moulds
for all usual types of block machines and has experience of many
years in the production durable moulds.
For the costumers of HESS this is a guarantor for precision and perfection with the production of concrete blocks.
Mechanical engineering – smart and savvy
Schlosser-Pfeiffer supplies complete and fully compatible moulds
and moulding equipment for the SP VARIANT, SP RADIAL PRESS and
SP TRIVIANT pipe making machines. In addition, the SCHLOSSERPFEIFFER line offers solutions for all other machines and systems for
making products similar to pipes.
The manhole ring production machine is characterised by a smart and
elaborate machine concept as well as shortest set-up times during mould
change. The socket and product handling as well as the addition of step
elements can be carried out manually or fully automated depending on
the client’s preferences.
