You are invited to participate in the Eighth International Conference on Integrated Design and Process Technology (IDPT) to be held
June 13-17, 2005 in Beijing China. The IDPT Conference is a major
international forum for the integration of design and process technologies to create a symbiotic relationship among scientists, engineers, software developers, decision makers, and other critical thinkers.
CONFERENCE PAPERS
The conference program will consist of invited and selected papers emphasizing knowledge integration through the study of processes leading to the delivery of a more robust, high–quality line of
products, software and services. Plenary sessions and keynote addresses will be presented by prominent speakers. All technical papers will be reviewed by the Program Technical Committee and by
three independent peer referees. All accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings. Furthermore, competitively
selected papers will be reviewed for publication in the SDPS Transactions: Journal of Integrated Design and Process Science.
The main topics of the year 2005 IDPT Conference are:

technologies; Distributed intelligent systems; Distributed sensor systems and network, Telework and enterprise engineering; Mobile computing, Software Architectures; Telecommunications; Healthcare Engineering; Electronic Commerce and Web Technology; Computer and
Software Engineering; Design and Process Engineering and Science;
Integrated Design and Manufacturing; General Design, Business Process Re-engineering and Science; Process Management and Improvement, Information Systems Engineering; Data Warehouse Technology; Technology Transfer; and High Pressure Technology and Science.
