Oxford University Press
Oxford University Press (OUP) is the largest university press in the world. As a department of the University
of Oxford, OUP furthers the University' s objective of excellence in research, scholarship and education by

As a leading publisher in Greater China, we publish over 500 top-quality new titles in both English and
Chinese every year, ranging from school textbooks, dictionaries, academic and general books to literacy
courses and packages. In mainland China, we collaborate with local publishers in major cities and
provinces to publish for both pupils and general readers.
Management Trainee Programme
As a visionary publisher, we are committed to nurturing talent. In 2009, we introduced the Management
Trainee Programme, the first of such kind in the publishing industry in the Chinese-speaking world.
The moment you join us as our management trainee, you will embark on a two-year development
journey. Our multifaceted programme allows you to gain a wide spectrum of experiences and a thorough
understanding of our business and management. You will also be able to develop your critical thinking and
adaptability to change.

‘This programme offers an exciting
learning opportunity for those who
are dedicated to advancing education
and culture. Most important, we
are part of the University of Oxford.
I feel proud to be a member of
the worldwide Oxford community
because what I am doing is truly
meaningful and is making differences
in people’s lives in Hong Kong and
China and, indeed, across the globe.’
‘The external placements allowed me
to see the working culture of other
companies. What’s equally exciting
was my rotation experience. I had
ample opportunity to work with a
diversity of people within and outside
OUP China. As a result, I was able to
develop different types of skill that
are of immense help in my career,
such as marketing research and
problem-solving skills.’
‘OUP is a creative organisation having
both academic and commercial ethos
and characteristics. The programme
really offers me a diverse range
of invigorating opportunities for
personal growth and professional
development. At OUP China, I get to
work with a community of extremely
amiable and talented people. The
support and feedback from my
mentor are also incredibly valuable.’
