ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Duly filled application form
• A current CV in English
• A motivational letter for MBA studies
• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university
• Three or more years of relevant working experience
• Applicants are either required to take a GMAT (Graduate
Management Admission Test) and obtain a score of 600,
or take leveling courses specified by MSM
• English proficiency: TOEFL (88 internet-based test or 570
paper-based test) or IELTS (6.5 academic test, 6.0 in all
bands) or take leveling courses specified by MSM

MISSION

WIM A. NAUDE, PhD
The MEUSE-Institute was established in early
2014 by Maastricht School of Management, one
of the oldest and most international business
schools in the Netherlands, through fusion of its
international projects and research departments,
and outreach MBA portfolio.
MSM promotes the MBA programs in emerging
economies and in other developed economies,
where the emphasis is on emerging economies.
These internationally accredited and time-tested
qualifications are offered as a consortium MBA,
only with selected partner organizations.

University American College Skopje is a leading
higher education institution that offers high
quality accredited programs in a variety of fields. It
combines the best of both American and
European educational practices. UACS is one of
the few universities, if not the only, in Macedonia
that incorporate the Harvard Business School
teaching models and concepts into its MBA
program, making it a unique and valuable

The Maastricht-EU Institute for the Study of
Emerging Economies (MEUSE-Institute) is an
institute of Maastricht School of Management
(MSM). The institute's Mission is to promote
sustainable and ethical business, business
education and business innovation in emerging and
developing economies for inclusive global
development, in both the EU and emerging and
developing countries. This Mission is crucial given
the need for better understanding and supporting
the evolving nature of business, management and
entrepreneurship in emerging and developing
economies (henceforth 'emerging economies') and
how this impact on the EU. The position of the EU
vis-à-vis new rising world powers is highly topical
as continued growth and prosperity, in both
emerging economies and the EU stand to gain
much from new ideas, knowledge and information.

As a partner, the UACS mission is to provide

A graduate of the University of Warwick (UK) he is, and has been, member of a number
of international networks and advisory bodies including the International Council for
Small Business, the Club de Madrid and the Households in Conflict Network. Before
joining MSM he was Senior Research Fellow at the United Nations University in Helsinki,
Finland, a full-time professor and research director at North-West University, South
Africa; a council member of Statistics South Africa; and a lecturer and research officer
at the University of Oxford. According to IDEAs/RePEc, Wim is ranked amongst the top 5%
of economists in Europe.

MARJAN BOJADJIEV, PhD
Professor of Retail Banking. He holds PhD in economics from Institute of Economics
and EECPCL certificate from Harvard Business School. Formerly was CEO and Managing
Director of various financial institutions. He has also served on the Boards of various
organizations such as American Chamber in Skopje and Macedonian Stock Exchange.
As of 2005 he has been associated with UACS: 2005 Dean (SBEM), 2006 Vice Rector
and 2010 Rector. In 2012 he received the award: “Teacher of the Year
for Baccalaureate/Graduate Programs for ACBSP Region 8”.

AAD VAN MOURIK, PhD
Professor of Economics. Graduate of the economics department of the Free University
of Amsterdam. PhD in economics from Maastricht University. Formerly among others
employed as associate professor at the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA),
academic director at Maastricht University's Centre for European Studies, as dean of the
Cologne Business School (Germany) and as academic director at Hoge School Zuyd's Hotel
Management School.

NIKICA MOJSOSKA-BLAZEVSKI, PHD
Prof. Nikica Mojsoska Blazevski started her professional career at the Ministry of Finance
at the Government of the Republic of Macedonia in 2000 and became the Head of the
Macroeconomic and Development Department in 2006. Since 2009, she is the Dean of
the School of Business Economics and Management at University American College
Skopje. She holds a PhD in Economics from Staffordshire University Business School, UK
(2006), a Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods, Staffordshire University (2003)
and BA in Economics from St. Cyril and Methodius University, Republic of Macedonia
