STUDENTMAIL, EZPROXY(JOURNAL) & WIFI-STUDENT
Activate account StudentMail & access to Ezproxy(Journal)
1) Go to page http://webmail.ums.edu.my/student/
2) Login using;
username: Matric Number [without ‘@student.ums.edu.my’]
password: Identity Card (IC) Number/ Passport Number
3) Wait until login completed and then logout.
4) Go or page http://ezproxy.ums.edu.my/login using same ID as above.
How to change password for StudentMail, Ezproxy(Journal) & WiFi :
1) Go to page http://webmail.ums.edu.my/student/
2) Login using;
username: Matric Number [without ‘@student.ums.edu.my’]
password: Identity Card (IC) Number/ Passport Number
3) Click Icon picture and choose option (see picture)
4) Click change password
5) Enter your new password. Changing password must follow PASSWORD POLICY (see below) :

Minimal password length: 8 characters

Number of numeric characters: 1 (0-9)

Number of alpha characters (letters): 1 (a-z, A-Z)

Number of non-alphanumeric characters: 1 (!@#$%...)

Password cannot be the same as your username or alias or name
How to forward StudentMail to personal email :
1) Click Icon picture and choose option (see picture)
2) Click tab Mail, choose Forwarder, and enter your personal mail (see picture). Then click OK.
