Titans Commitment
Create, maintain and develop an elite Tier hockey program
that houses the most committed hockey players both on
and off the ice; to develop the "total" hockey player by
providing quality coaching and a healthy and positive
hockey environment; and maintain a reputation of
excellence in the developing the hockey player.
The California Titans are proud members of the
California Amateur Hockey Association (CAHA) and
the North American Prospects Hockey League (PHL).
The Titans Tier 1 program was established in 2006, to
provide Tier 1 hockey in the North Los Angeles and
Ventura Counties. The Titans are the Tier I and Tier II
programs of the Ventura Mariners Hockey
Association, which is one of the longest tenured
operating youth hockey associations in California
(more than 25 years). Together the Titans/Mariners
consistently field thirteen to fourteen youth travel ice
hockey teams per season, ranging from Mites to
Midget 18’s, at the Tier 1, Tier 2, A, and B levels; and
forms the second largest membership in Southern
California.
Keeping in mind the previously stated Mission and the
overall goals of the California Titans Hockey Club, the
program must be an educational program for players,
parents, and coaching officials. The process of adding,
refining and deleting will shape the Titans as those involved
strive to meet the highest standards and the highest level of
play. Our program is practical and effective in meeting the
program’s philosophy and objectives. The main underlying
fact that will guide our program is almost without exception
our staff. To create a competitive environment that pushes
athletes to the highest level; to put together a product both
on and off the ice that will become the only place a player
wants to play; and to develop, expose, and advance our
players to the next level of hockey.
