This exhibition features works by Eugene Delacroix, J.A.D. Ingres, Edgar Degas, Edouard Manet, Claude Monet, J.M.W. Turner and Asher B. Durand, among others, illustrating the striking range of styles, techniques, and approaches practiced during this era of artistic revolution. Turner to Monet Family Days December 28 & 29, 11AM – 4PM On Tuesday enter the world of the artist and see how artists of the late nineteenth century lived, worked, and made art. Create your own art, play art challenge games, and visit interactive gallery stations. Come back on Wednesday to meet the characters inside of the artworks, make your own art, and take a theatrical tour. Included with museum admission. Public Tours In addition to the programs listed above, the Blanton Museum of Art will host a public tour of Turner to Monet every Sunday at 3PM for the duration of the exhibition.
