Course Title: IFR6000 Operations
Objectives:
The IFR6000 Operations course is an eight hour preparation designed to provide Maintainers of
DME and Transponder systems with the knowledge and skills required to use the ATC-600A to
verify Transponder, ADS-B, TCAS and DME installations and operations.
• Controls, Connectors and Indicators
• SetUp Menu Screens
• ATC Transponder Screens
• Mode S Screens
• ADS-B Screens
• TCAS Screens
• DME Screens

Course at customer’s site or at Aeroflex, Wichita, KS
Who Should Attend
The course is directed toward Avionic Repair Technicians, FBO operators, Avionics
Manufacturers, Airline Maintenance Personnel, Airframe Manufacturers and Avionics
Certification Facilities.
Prerequisites
Familiarity with basic Avionics terminology and standard measurement techniques.
