McGrath Executive Vice President/Chief Financial Officer Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc. Ben McGrath has been an Executive Vice President and the Chief Financial Officer of Edward J. Minskoff Equities, Inc. since 2000. Previously, Mr. McGrath was a Managing Director of the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group at Chase Securities Inc. Mr. McGrath joined Chase in 1984 (then Chemical Bank) and held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the real estate banking function, eventually being promoted to co-head of the Global Real Estate Banking Group. He was a construction project engineer for a paper manufacturer for several years prior to joining Chase. Mr. McGrath is a member of a number of professional organizations, was the Chairman of NYU’s Real Estate Roundtable, and was a long-time member of the Executive Committee of the NYU Schack Institute’s Advisory Board. He was a Trustee of The Convent of the Sacred Heart School of New York from 1997 to 2003. Mr. McGrath was previously an adjunct professor of real-estate finance in NYU’s Master of Science in Real Estate Program. Mr. McGrath received an M.B.A. from The Darden School of Business at The University of Virginia, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University. Robert E. P. for Business Affairs/Treasurer The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art (1991 – 2009) Robert Hawks is currently President of Hawks Media, Inc., a small publishing company focused on Korean art and poetry. Previously, Mr. Hawks was the Vice President for Business Affairs as well as Treasurer of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. Mr. Hawks joined The Cooper Union in 1991. In addition to general administrative responsibilities, Mr. Hawks headed negotiations for a new 150 year ground lease for the Chrysler Building; headed negotiations of a ground lease for 26 Astor Place; headed negotiations of a ground lease for 51 Astor Place; and negotiated eleven retail leases. Mr. Hawks was also Vice President for Finance and Administration of Polytechnic University in Brooklyn, Director of Administration of the Redevelopment and Housing Authority in Newark, NJ and Associate Adjunct Professor at Polytechnic University teaching graduate level Managerial Accounting. Mr. Hawks has an MA in Economics from Fordham University, an MPA from Baruch College and a BA in Economics from Syracuse University.
