ON BLACKBOARD OUTCOMES
Step 1: Log into Bb at http://myutb.blackboard.com/
LOGIN TO BLACKBOARD.
Your username consists of your first and
last-name initials plus your seven-digit
student ID.
Your password is the same as Datatel and
your Webmail account.

Step 2: Once logged into Bb, locate and click on OUTCOMES tab.

On the following screen, the tab My Places provides a list of programs and
departments for which you’ve been granted access.
Units (Departments) require Administrative Plan form. (ESO)
Programs of study require Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
Department of Mathematics (unit)
Bachelors in Mathematics (program)
Masters in Mathematics (program)

INPUTTING ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN
• Select any Department from your list :
(for this example Department of Mathematics)
• Click IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS located on the right hand column.
A screen will apear with the past Assessment Cycles reported in the system.

To create a new cycle for Administrative Goals
• Select Create Improvement Project then
New Unit Assessment Plan-Administrative Goals
A new form will open ready to input Administrative Plans.

• Select any Program from your list : (for this example BS in Mathematics)

Click IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS.

Step 4: To create a new cycle for Student Learning Outcomes (SLO)
• Select Create Improvement Project then New Academic Affairs Assessment Plan-SLO
A new form will open ready to input Student Learning Outcomes.
