It evaluates individuals on their managerial and leadership qualities and provides a platform to develop and explore new avenues within the company and across subsidiaries. The programme encapsulates intensive training, educational inputs and rotational assignments. You can choose all or any of the three streams within the scheme as follows: 1. Executive Selection Scheme (ESS) - This focuses on General Management competencies and is suitable for placement in any functional area. 2. Operations Managers Scheme (OMS) - This focuses on Operations Management competencies and is suitable for placement in Plant based functional areas. 3. Commercial Managers Scheme (CMS) - This focuses on Commercial Management competencies and is suitable for placement in Sales & Marketing areas. Performance Rating No “Contribution Needs Improvement”(CNI) in the last PACT cycle * The above grade equivalence is specific to the FTSS process and should not be considered as grade mapping for any other process. * PGT/PGT TECH/PGST/GET/OT’s will have to complete 2 years in TML as on 31st Dec 2012 * Work experience required is on permanent role (including probation period) but not contractual/temporary engagement. Any exceptions should be bought to the notice of the undersigned. * Please note applicants can choose to apply for any one, any two or all of the 3 schemes, i.e. ESS (Executive Selection Scheme), CMS (Commercial Management Scheme) & OMS (Operations Management Scheme). * No Age Limit | Maximum 3 Attempts Selection process Selection process comprises of four steps: Phase 1 Phase 2 Phase 3 Phase 4 Online Test Group Discussion & Power Interview Assessment Center Final Interview Phase 1: All participants will have to compulsorily attempt two papers irrespective of which scheme they choose: Details Paper 1 Paper 2 Question Base • Logical Reasoning • Quantitative Technique • Language Comprehension • Functional Appreciation • General Knowledge Time Duration 2 Hours 1.5 Hours Phase 2: Shortlisted candidates attend a round of Group Discussion and Power Interviews which is held across locations with internal/external panellists. Phase 3: Shortlisted candidates attend a 2 day assessment center which uses various tools and exercises like intray, case study, group task etc. The panel here (both internal / external) represents a cross locational and cross functional expertise. Development Rotations: Selected Candidates will undergo development based rotational assignments for a period of one year. Leadership Development: Impetus programme nominations for general management initiatives. and Mentoring: Enhanced developmental support is provided to the candidate under the ‘Anchor Me’ initiative. On completion of the rotational assignment they are placed on critical and challenging roles as per the organizational needs on a full time basis. Performance is monitored and further training inputs in functional area are provided. Mobility: The FTSS program blends individual aspirations and organizational needs to create a talent pipeline. It is of paramount importance that participants of this program are mobile across locations.
