How does it work?
The combined audit process
has been designed to provide
a comprehensive, independent
and quantified evaluation
of your organisations entire
health and safety management
system and arrangements
(through the five star process),
whilst also evaluating systems
against the BS:OHSAS 18001
standard.
The five star audit
element of the combined
process identifies areas of
strengths and weakness,
provides an overall score
and grading, together
with recommendations
for improvement. Those
organisations who achieve
the maximum five star
grading are eligible to apply
for the British Safety Council
prestigious Sword of Honour
Award which recognises
best practice in safety
management across
the globe.

standard is recognised

This criteria is incorporated
into the combined audit
delivery process. The
combined audit report will
explicitly document any non
conformance areas against
the standard and will also
comment on opportunities
for improvement in relation
to those areas covered
within the audit.
