Fluorescent wallwashers
The specially designed wallwasher
reflector for fluorescent lamps
provides a uniform and even wall
illumination. When equipped with
energy-saving fluorescent lamps or
compact fluorescent lamps, these
wallwashers are ideal for the provision of wall lighting in museums,
but also in shops and representational rooms. The illumination of a
wall can be aimed at vertical visual
tasks, or solely at presenting the
wall in its capacity as the surface
that delineates a room.
General characteristics
The product range comprises linear
luminaires in two lengths for use
with T5 fluorescent lamps.
The housings with mounting frame
are made of metal and powder-
coated in white; the wallwasher
reflectors are aluminum and are
silver anodized, satin matt.
Features
Wallwashers for T5 fluorescent
lamps 28W or 54W are available
in one size. An additional size is
intended for the of a 35W lamp.
T5 lamps are driven by electronic
control gear.
Application
For uniform illumination of vertical
surfaces or wall areas where the
highest demands are placed on the
evenness of the illumination; application areas include museums,
trade-fair stands, exhibitions, sales
areas and showrooms.

Applications Airports, lobbies, corridors, bathrooms, hospitality.
Features A staggered 1- or 2-lamp T8 perimeter lighting system that
provides vertical surfaces with an even wash of light. Telescoping lamp
rows adjust to actual wall length and allow corners and row ends to
be lit. An extruded aluminum wall rail provides for easy installation.
Continuous rows are secured using alignment splines. The aluminum,
semi-specular parabolic louver is 1 1/2" high and 2 3/8" on center and
provides 34° longitudinal shielding.
Construction The housing, available in 2-, 3-, 4-, or 8-foot standard
lengths, is made of 20-gauge steel. Wall rail and trim flange is 1/16"
extruded aluminum. Louver material is semi-specular, low iridescent
aluminum.
Finish The standard housing and trim color is gloss white (YGW)
using polyester powder paint.
Electrical T8 fixtures have instant-start electronic ballasts with less
than 20% THD. Fixtures are U.L. Damp labeled (non-emergency)
and I.B.E.W. manufactured. Maximum ballast size available: 2 3/8"
width x 1 1/2" height.
Mounting Fixture is recess-mounted in either exposed T-bar or hard
ceiling application(s).
Options EML: emergency battery (T8=600 lumens); EMH: emergency
battery (T8=1200 lumens); DM: dimming (consult factory); RSE: rapidstart electronic; 10THD: ballast with < 10% total harmonic distortion;
B_: specific ballast, specify manufacturer and catalog number (consult

Perfect light quality
We take in about 80 percent of all information with
our eyes. Light enables us to see. The more effectively light is adapted to a situation, the more precisely
information, feelings and emotions can be perceived.
TridonicAtco provides digital and therefore precise
dimming of the most varied of light sources. As a result, TridonicAtco provides the optimum solution for
light and lighting levels adjusted to suit individual
needs. Digital ballasts from TridonicAtco are supplied
as standard with a logarithmic dimming curve, which
has been specially developed to match the sensitivity

of the human eye.
With TridonicAtco’s control systems, energy savings of up to
75 % can be realized. These savings are achieved as a result of
both the increased operating efficiency of the lamp as well as
the low power consumption of digital dimmable control devices
such as the PCA ballast. The addition of daylight control with
presence detectors is a key factor in achieving such high-energy
