To all of the participants in the many sections well done. Champions Day is a very exciting culmination of the curling season. Everyone wants to be in Champions Day from the beginning of the
season. Whether you won or lost doesn’t matter it’s the fact you made it.
After the games were completed, Champions Day had a western themed party pitting Billy the Kid
vs. Jesse James. More than 100 people took part in the poker, trivia, and Family Feud events. The
evening started off with Matt Glandfield and Crystal Miller bringing their horse by for everyone to
get into the theme. An evening packed with games, entertainment, line dancing and the trophy presentations. Thank you to Nikki Smith and Karen Winter for arranging the evening.

and to be a part of a club that is so rich in history and honours the purity of the game. I’m
confident that our innovative coaching programs, utilizing new technology, and our approach to helping golfers develop skills, will
enhance our Members experience during
practice and in play.
In the coming weeks you’ll be seeing updates to our website regarding our adult and junior coaching programs,
upcoming clinics, along with instructional articles and videos pertaining
to different aspects of the game. Please take this time to learn more about

JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS:
We have aligned our programs with Golf Canada’s Long
Term Athletic Development Guide by including a blend of group,
individual, and on-course coaching sessions to ensure more
efficient and more comprehensive development.
Our programs are designed to educate athletes on what it
takes to achieve golf related goals, how to train effectively for
lasting skill acquisition and proper development of physical,
technical, mental, and tactical skills. By creating a fun learning
environment, we are able to inspire athletes to strive for excellence and to reach the required number of quality ball contacts
and deliberate practice hours that align with the athlete’s pathway to 20,000 hrs.
