One of the most favorite topics which various peoples worldwide like to find right answers is how to attain peace and success. Many authors, Muslims and Non-Muslims alike, have written several articles and books related to this very important topic. The reason is plain and simple: In general, people like to live in peace, they aspire for success both in this world and in the eternal world to come. Islam is the only religion and the only complete system of life that truly offers peace and ultimate success to those who know it, practice it wholeheartedly and share it to others – all for the pleasure of Allah (The God)

This ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ article introduces Islam to all rational readers, those who are really sincere in attaining peace and success and are ready to open their minds and hearts to the Truth about Islam based on authentic sources or proofs. True Islam comes from authentic sources: the Qur’an and the Sunnah (Wisdom or Teachings of
Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ

) and the right deductions from these two sources of knowledge and guidance. I invite you to continue reading this article with the intention to please the Only Creator of the World – the One Who bestows peace and success to His deserving servants/creations. Know that we have only one True Islam as we have only one Creator. That True Islam comes from the True God who
Alone gives authentic Islam, which is based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah, to whom He pleases. Any teaching or guidance outside from these two sources of knowledge and guidance from the True God is
bid’ah (innovation in religion) and hence, not Islam. Likewise, anybody who is ignorant of the authentic
Islam and therefore does not adhere to the Qur’an and the Sunnah is not a Muslim. There are different ways and sects but only one is the Straight Path of Allah leading to Paradise. All others are from Satan leading to Hell Fire. Here are the proofs from the Qur’an and the Sunnah:
“Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths: they will scatter you about from His (great) path: thus does He command you that you may be righteous.” (Qur’an
6:153)
1 ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ Subhaanahu wa ta'alaa - “May He be Glorified and Exalted.” It is one of the many ways of glorifying Allah the
Almighty. It also means "Glory be to Allah on High. Far removed is He from any imperfection”. The shortened form of this glorification is “Allah Ta'ala”. This is an epitaph attached to the name Allah. The first part signifies recognition that Allah is free of any defects or shortcomings and is to be glorified and praised. The second word is actually a verb that signifies that Allah is high above His creation in every aspect.
2 مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ SallAllâhu alayhi wa sallaam, meaning: May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. This is an invocation of blessing that should be said upon mentioning or hearing the name of the Prophet Muhammad. At times abbreviated as (pbuh), or (saaws). It is in fact a supplication that Allah mention Muhammad to the high angels and that the angels in turn praise Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ before Allah. This is a form of praise and blessing to Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ and a request that he suffers no harm and is given a sanctified station in the Hereafter. It also makes the one who mentions it worthy of praise and reward. It is allowed to mention it for other prophets and messengers of Allah.

‘Abdullah bin Mas’ûd ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر

narrated that (once) Allah's Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ drew a line for us and then said, “That is the Path shown by Allah.” Then he drew several other lines on his right and left sides and said, “These are the paths on every side of which there is a devil calling towards it.” He then recited this verse, “Verily, this is My way, leading straight: follow it: follow not (other) paths… (Qur’an 6:153). ’” (Tirmidhi 166, Ahmad, Nasa’i and Darimî)
‘Abdullah Bin Amr ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “There will befall my Ummah (Muslim Nation) exactly (all those) evils which befell the people of Isra’il, so much so that if there was one amongst them who openly committed fornication with his mother, there will be among my Ummah one who will do that; and if the people of Isra’il were fragmented into seventy-two sects my Ummah will be fragmented into seventy-three sects. All of them will be in Hell Fire except one sect.” They (the Companions) said: “Allah’s Messenger, which is that?”
Whereupon he said: “It is one to which I and my Companions belong.” (Tirmidhî, Hadeeth 171)
For all those who aspire to attain peace and success, read Islam based on authentic sources: the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Be objective in judging the Truth about Islam by reading and knowing Islam from its True
Bestower, The God and His Messenger Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . Do not judge Islam by looking at other Muslims’ attitudes, behaviors and practices. Know that not all people whom you think are
Muslims are really Muslims. Look for those Muslims who really know, practice and share true Islam to others. But how can you identify the real Muslims from those who are ignorant and/or innovators of the true
Islam or have deviated from the Sunnah (Practices/Teachings) of Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ?
It is therefore, for the guidance of those who really go for peace and success to read. Read the Qur’an and the Sunnah (authentic Ahadeeth or teachings of Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as well as articles and books written about Islam based on these two authentic sources. Know that the first divine revelation which Allah (The God) revealed to His Messenger Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ through the
Angel Gabriel pertains to reading:
Read in the name of your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) who created -- (1) Created man from a clinging substance. (2) Read, and your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer, Allah) is the most
Generous - (3) Who taught by the pen - (4) Taught man that which he knew not. (5) No! (But) indeed, man transgresses (6) because he sees himself self-sufficient. (7) Indeed, to your Rabb
(Cherisher and Sustainer) is the return. (8) Have you seen the one who forbids (9) a servant when he prays? (10) Have you seen if he is upon guidance (11) or enjoins righteousness? (12)
Have you seen if he denies and turns away?(13) Does he not know that Allah sees? (14) No! If he does not desist, We

will surely drag him by the forelock - (15) a lying, sinning forelock. (16)
3 ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر / عنهم ﷲ ﻲﺿر Radhi Allâhu anhu/ hum, meaning: May Allah be pleased with him/them.

Note that "We" is an Arabic and Hebrew plural of respect. In both Arabic and Hebrew, there are two types of 'we'. One is the plural pronoun used by English speaking countries (such as "we rode in the car together," "we all come from the same country"...etc.). The second is the plural of RESPECT. 'We' is used in the Qur'an when describing Allah Almighty in the second sense. It is used to magnify and glorify God as well as to display respect and humility to our Creator...The reader will also notice that this usage is not restricted to the Qur'an only. To this day, if an English speaking person were to go to any Arabic speaking country and to read any official letter directed to a dignitary or high official (or even a newspaper), or to attend an official speech, they will find that the dignitary is always addressed as "they" and "them" and "you" (plural "you"). So, when addressing an ambassador, King, or leader of a nation for example, this ONE person is always addressed as "THEY have arrived," not "HE has arrived." Or "I gave THEM the sealed letter," not "I gave HIM the sealed letter." So we must ask, if "we," implies a "Trinity," then is this king or this dignitary also a "triune" dignitary? Is he three persons merged into one? The same argument applies when this
Arabic-speaking dignitary refers to himself in a public speech. In such a case, he will almost always refer to himself as "We." For example, he will say: "We, the leader of this great nation..." and so forth. Dr. Jamal Badawi once observed that since the Queen

Then let him call his associates. (17) We will call the angels of Hell. (18) No! Do not obey him.
But prostrate and draw near (to Allah). (19) (Qur’an 96:1-19)
The above brief but comprehensive first divine revelation from Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ is addressed not only to
Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ and the Muslims but also to all Non-Muslims or in short to the whole mankind. This first revelation actually summarizes the whole message of the Qur’an and that is for everyone to worship Allah, the Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) and Creator of all. Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ is the return for those who practise and enjoin guidance and righteousness. This means, attainment of peace and success in the eternal world. Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ warns those who are arrogant, who think they can do things without His help and those who turn and supplicate to others for help and guidance and above all, those who refuse to worship Him. They will not be helped by anyone whom they associate partners with Allah
ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ . They will live miserable life in the Hell. So if we want peace and success, it is for our best guidance to believe, obey and worship no one but Allah, the Creator and not to worship anyone of His creations. Is it not that reading is the most practical and best guidance that every thinking human being can get and be able to benefit a lot from it? By reading authentic sources, we free ourselves from the bondage of ignorance. By reading and knowing the Truth, we free ourselves from Falsehood. By reading the ways to right beliefs and righteous deeds, we open our minds and hearts to seek for Paradise and close our doors toward disbelief and evil deeds leading to Hell-Fire. If you read authentic Islam -- i.e., according to the Qur'an and the Sunnah, you will surely find your way to peace and ultimate success. Now ask yourself:
Is there any book that claims to be "from God or inspired by God" that starts with God's commandment:
"Read!"? Is there more rational and divine teaching better than reading in the Name of our Rabb
(Cherisher and Sustainer)?
When you read the Qur'an, you will be guided with the best and absolute answers to the following questions: Who is our God? Who created us? What are God's attributes that make Him God and therefore deserves to be worshiped? First, know that Allah is an Arabic word that comes from two words: “Al”
(meaning “The” and Ila (meaning “God”. Allah, therefore means “The God”. It is the Greatest Name of our
Creator. Allah is one of the 99 Beautiful Names and Attributes of God (e.g., "Ar-Rahman" meaning "The
Most Gracious", "Ar-Raheem" meaning "The Most Merciful", "Al Khaliq" meaning "The Creator", “Al-Malik” meaning “The Absolute Ruler”, “Al-‘Ali” meaning “The Highest”, “As-Salam” meaning “The Source of
Peace”, "Al Wadud" meaning "The Loving", “Al-Qadir” meaning “The All Powerful”, “Al-Muqtadir” meaning
“The Creator of All Power”, "Al Ghaffar" meaning "The Most Forgiving", Al-Hayy" meaning "The Living", “Al-
Quddus” meaning “The Pure One or Holy One”, "Al Ghayb" meaning "The Unseen", "Al Wahid" meaning
"The One", “Al Haqq” meaning "The Truth”, “Al-Mutakabbir” meaning “The Greatest”, “AL Alim” meaning
“The All-Knowing”, “Al-Wahhab” meaning “The Giver of All”, “Ar-Razzaq” meaning “The Sustainer”, “Al-
Muta'ali” meaning “The Supreme One”, “Malik-al-Mulk” meaning “The Owner of All”, “An-Nur” meaning
“The Light”, “Al-Hadi” meaning “The Guide”, “Al-Badi” meaning “The Originator”, “Al-Baqi” meaning “The of England refers to herself in the plural form then is she too a "Trinity”? If after knowing the beautiful Names and Attributes of Allah, the Non-Muslim readers still do not believe in Allah, then they should try to answer or ponder upon this question: Is there any god who claims to be god other than Allah (The God) who has all the beautiful Names and Attributes of the True Creator? Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ Alone declares that He is the Only God Who possesses the Most
Beautiful Names and Attributes:
“Allah! There is no god but He,-- the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize
Him nor sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as He permits? He knows what (appears to His creatures as) before or after or behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He wills. His Throne does extend over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in guarding and preserving them for He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).” (Qur'an 2:255)
“Allah's (Names) are the fairest Names. Invoke Him by them. And leave the company of those who blaspheme His names. They will be requited what they do.” (Qur’an 7: 180)
"Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belongs the Most Beautiful Names.” (Qur’an 20:8)
“He is Allah, the Creator, the Shaper out of naught, the Fashioner. His are the most beautiful
Names. All that is in the heavens and the earth glorifies Him, and He is the Mighty, the Wise.”
(Qur’an 59:24)
Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ is the only One being worshiped whose name means “The God”. Jesus Christ (Allah's peace be upon him) who is being worshiped by most Christians does not have any other name that means
"The God". Neither did Jesus call himself "God". Allah Who Alone declares Himself "The God" is the Only
One Who is being worshiped at least five times a day by all devoted Muslims in the world. He is being worshiped 24 hours daily in the Holy Mosque in Makkah by many people from various races and nations worldwide who come for Umrah or the minor Pilgrimage, which can be done at all times of the year. He is the Only One Who claims to be the Creator and the One Who commands everyone to worship no one but
Him, and He is the Only One Who makes clear to us the purpose of our creation:
“That is Allah, your Rabb (Only God, Cherisher and Sustainer)! There is no god but He, the
Creator of all things: so, worship Him (Alone) and He has power to dispose of all affairs.” (Qur’an
6:102-103)
"I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me. I do not want from them any sustenance and I do not want (from them) that they feed Me. Indeed Allah is the provider, the possessor of power and strength.” (Qur’an 51:56-58)

In addition to reading the Qur’an, Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ commands us to understand, ponder and reflect on His
Book as shown in the following verses:
“We have revealed for you (O mankind!) a book (Qur’an) which will give you eminence. Will you not then understand?” (Qur'an 21:10)
“Do they not then earnestly seek to understand the Qur’an or their hearts locked up by them?”
(Qur'an 47: 24)
“Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity.” (Qur'an 4:82)
“(This is ) a Scripture (Qur’an) that We have revealed unto you, full of blessing, that they may
ponder its revelations, and that men of understanding may reflect.” (Qur'an 38:29)
“With clear proofs and writings; and We have revealed unto you the Remembrance (the Qur'an) that you may explain to mankind that which has been revealed for them, and that haply they may
reflect.” (Qur’an 16:44)
“And of His signs is this: He created for you helpmeets from yourselves that you might find rest in them, and He ordained between you love and mercy. Lo, herein indeed are portents for folks who reflect.” (Qur'an 30:21)
“(This is ) a Scripture (the Qur'an ) that We have revealed unto you, full of blessing, that they may
ponder its revelations, and that men of understanding may reflect.” (Qur’an 38:29)
Non-Muslim readers try to understand, ponder and reflect on the clear and majestic statements, which only the True God can openly declare to all His creations. See if the book you believe to be “from god” or
“inspired by god” has the same or similar statements which the God says in His Book. This is a challenge which you will never be able to answer. If you find one or several “better” statements from the book you believe to be “inspired by god”, is it not more rational and even best for you to believe in the Book which only the God and the Creator of all claims authorship? Think, which one is better, the “inspired authors” who were mere creations of Allah like you or the God Himself who makes it clear to all that He was the One who has sent down the Qur’an? How much do you know of the “inspired authors”? Do you have clear backgrounds of their qualifications as “authors”? What were their family names and credentials? Is it not that in general, authors are not only judged on the quality (scholarly writing and style) of their articles and books but also being judged on their educational qualifications, experiences, accomplishments, etc.? Why will you compare a man-made book or book written by different unknown men (no family names) from The
God’s Book? Verily, Allah, with all His excellent and beautiful Names and Attributes, is the Author of the
Qur’an and the Only Creator who has sent the Qur’an for our guidance and admonition. Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ clearly says:
“This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah. On the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book -- wherein there is no doubt from the Creator of the Worlds.” (Qur’an 10:37)
“…For Allah has sent down to you the Book (the Qur’an) and Wisdom (Prophet’s Sunnah) and taught you what you knew not (before): and great is the Grace of Allah unto you.” (Qur’an 4:113)

“(Here is a) Book which We have sent down unto you, full of blessings that they may meditate on its Signs, and that men of understanding may receive admonition.” (Qur’an 38:29)
Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful guides mankind to know and worship Him through the Qur'an and the Sunnah of His Messenger Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . The Qur’an and the
Sunnah of His Messenger Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ serve as His mercy to all mankind.
Understand clearly what Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ says:
“For We had certainly sent unto them a Book (Qur’an) based on knowledge, which We explained in detail, a guide and a Mercy to all who believe.” (Qur’an 7:52)
“Just as We have sent among you a messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book and Wisdom (Prophet’s Sunnah) and teaching you that which you did not know.” (Qur’an 2: 151)
“…We have sent down to you the Book (Qur’an) explaining all things, a guide, a Mercy, and glad tidings to Muslims.” (Qur’an 16:89)
“Certainly did Allah confer (great) favor upon the believers when He sent among them a
Messenger from themselves, reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book (the Qur’an) and wisdom (the Sunnah) although they had been before in manifest error.” (Qur’an 3: 164)
“It is He (Allah) who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book (the Qur’an) and Wisdom (the
Sunnah) although they had been before in manifest error.” (Qur’an 62: 2)
The above Qur’anic injunctions, are explicit proofs that indeed the Qur’an and the Sunnah of Prophet
Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ serve as the best sources of knowledge and guidance for our own success.
Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ makes it clear that He was the Only One Who revealed and sent down the Qur’an as written clearly in the following verses:
“This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah; on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that went before it, and a fuller explanation of the Book -- wherein there is no doubt -- from the Rabb (God, Cherisher and Sustainer) of the Worlds.” (Qur’an 10:37)
“Say: ‘The (Qur’an) was sent down by Him Who knows the secret (that is) in the heavens and the earth: Verily, He is the Most Forgiving, the Most Merciful.’” (Qur’an 25:6)
“It is Allah Who has sent down the Book (the Qur’an) in truth, and the Balance (by which to weigh conduct) …” (Qur’an 42: 17)

“The Revelation of the Book (the Qur’an) is from Allah the Exalted in Power, Full of Wisdom.”
(Qur’an 46:2)
The Qur’an is the only Book wherein Allah instructs mankind to read, study, and follow it for guidance.
Allah the All-Knowing tells us:
“... Read, therefore, of the Qur’an as much as may be easy (for you)... Read... and establish regular Prayer and give zakat (charity) and loan to Allah a beautiful loan. And whatever good you send forth for your souls, you shall find it in Allah’s presence. Yeah, better and greater in
Reward.” (Qur’an, 73:20)
“Those to whom We have given the Book (the Qur’an) study it as it should be studied: they are the ones that believe therein: those who reject faith therein the loss is their own.” (Qur’an 2:121)
“And this is a Book which We have revealed as a blessing: so follow it and be righteous, that you may receive mercy.” (Qur’an 6:155)
“Those who listen to the Word, and follow the best of it. Those are the ones who Allah has guided, and those are the ones endued with understanding.” (Qur’an 39:18)
If you read the Qur’an you will know that Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is Allah's great Prophet and Messenger to all mankind. He is Allah’s Prophet and Messenger like Jesus, the Son of Mary. The only difference is that Allah sent Jesus to the children of Israel (Qur'an 4: 171, 61:6). Whereas Allah sent
Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ to all mankind. In other words, Jesus’ mission is only confined to the
Jews during his generation while Muhammad’s mission is universal. Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ tells mankind that
Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is “no more than a Messenger” (Qur’an 3: 144), the unlettered
Prophet who believes in Him and His Words (Qur’an 7: 158). He is the Seal of the Prophets and the true universal Messenger of Allah to the whole mankind (Qur’an 33: 40). Allah the All-Mighty, makes this very clear:
"We have not sent you (O Muhammad) but as a universal (Messenger) to men giving them glad tidings and warning them (against sin) but most men understand not.” (Qur’an 34: 28)
Know that Allah sent Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ not only as His Final Messenger and the Seal of the Prophets (Qur’an 33: 40) but also as the Great Teacher (Educator) to mankind. Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) sent him to teach humanity the Qur’an and the Sunnah, his two concrete and living miracles:
“Just as We have sent among you a Messenger from yourselves reciting to you Our verses and purifying you and teaching you the Book (the Qur’an) and Wisdom (Prophet’s Sunnah) and teaching you that which you did not know.” (Qur’an 2: 151)
“It is He (Allah) Who has sent among the unlettered a Messenger from themselves reciting to them His verses and purifying them and teaching them the Book (the Qur’an) and Wisdom (the

Sunnah) although they had been before in manifest error.” (Qur’an 62: 2)
Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said,
“The best speech is that embodied in the Book of Allah (the Qur’an), and the best guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad (the Sunnah). The most evil affairs are their (religious) innovations
(in Islam); and every (religious) innovation is an error.” (Muslim 1885)
The Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ possesses an exalted (standard of) character (Qur’an 68:4) and an excellent exemplar for him who hopes in Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ and the Final Day, and who remembers Allah
ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ much (Qur’an 33: 21). Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ endowed him with exalted standard of character for us to follow. Every aspect of his life has been fully dealt with, providing complete guidance to the whole mankind. Allah the Most Merciful has endowed the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ with wisdom, the Ahadeeth
(plural of Hadeeth), through which the readers can learn how he spent his life (his exemplary characters and righteous deeds and teachings) as the best example to humanity.
Hadeeth literally means “statement”, which is otherwise known as “Sunnah” (a mode of life, practice, custom or tradition). Ahadeeth generally refer to “the records of utterances, discourses, practices, usages, sayings and the way of life led by the Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ever since he assumed prophethood in the fortieth year of his life (609 A.C.) to the year of his death (632 A.C.) when he was 63 years old.”
6 Hadeeth plays a very vital role in perfecting the way of life of the Muslims. It is sacred,
inviolate and majestic and it is revered next to the Holy Qur’an in the entire Muslim world. It provides detailed specifications for what is determined in generality by the Qur’an. It covers the secondary obligations which facilitate primary ones. In fact, the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ successfully conveyed the
Qur’an to mankind through the Ahadeeth.
Some of the Ahadeeth were also written during the time of the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . He, however, ordered his Companions to rub out whatever they had written down of his own statements. He feared that people might be confused and mixed Ahadeeth with the Holy Qur’an. Knowing the importance of every
Hadeeth, the Prophet’s Companions and later learned Muslim scholars made a compilation of Ahadeeth after the Prophet’s death. In their collection of Ahadeeth they were cautious because of the Prophet’s warning that: “He who deliberately and knowingly attributes to me something which I have not said will certainly have his place reserved for him in hell.” (Bukhari)

In another hadeeth the Prophet
also said: “Whoso fabricates anything and ascribes it to our religion, he is accursed.” (Bukhari and
Muslim).
Great measures of diligence in the compilation of Ahadeeth were then observed.
ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
The deliberate fabrication or distortion of Ahadeeth started when civil war erupted in the Muslim state after the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ had passed away. There were people who fabricated Ahadeeth to create division, hostility and conflict in the ranks of Muslims. To get rid of spurious traditions and teachings that had crept into the authentic Ahadeeth leading Muslim scholars developed a scientific way of confirming the authenticity of each Hadeeth.

Any human being who lives in accordance with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ will find inner and outer peace, especially with the Creator. He can easily establish harmony with his immediate environment (with his family, relatives, neighbors and friends) and those outside his community.
The Islamic teachings encourage smooth interpersonal relationships between and among nations. They assure mankind of universal brotherhood, equality, justice, dignity and honor, guidance and salvation. They are very practical, so full of common sense and so full of truth. They apply to every situation, every age, and every man of all walks of life. They revolve around the Islamic way of life which transcends and penetrates far beyond all barriers of race and status of wealth or prestige.
More significantly, the Ahadeeth prove Prophet Muhammad’s universal prophethood. No other great man and prophet had come up with such teachings so full of moral guidance that awakens the mind and shakes the heart of every rational being on earth. It was Allah’s miracle that the unlettered Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ who grew in the Dark Age, rose to teach the whole of humanity and perfected morality. This historical fact shows a clear sign for those who deny Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as Allah’s universal Messenger to all nations. Everyone should believe that behind the great Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ was Allah who Alone is the True God. Allah the Almighty blessed him with wisdom to propagate the Truth.
The Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ died, but he left humanity with everlasting guidance through the Qur’an and the Sunnah. His comprehensive and universal teachings will continue to guide every human being who goes for and adheres to the Truth. Every faithful believer who learns his teachings will always bear in mind that according to the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ “The best word is the Book of Allah, and the best way is the way of Muhammad and the foulest thing is fabrication and every fabrication is departure from the straightway.” (Muslim) He will think of the Prophet’s warning that “whoever fabricates anything and ascribes it to our religion, he is accursed.” (Bukhari and Muslim) Teachings such as these from the Prophet ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ will subsequently preserve Islam: the Religion of Truth. Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ tells nothing but the truth when he says: “Allah did not send me to reproach (and curse) people but as a mercy

to them and as one calling them to the Truth.” (Muslim) In his teachings, he enjoins every man to speak the truth and refrain from falsehood. He says: “Truth leads to piety which paves the Way to Paradise... and falsehood leads one to vices and evils land one in hell.” (Bukhari and Muslim) The Prophet’s teachings are indeed so full of truth. They guide mankind to the right path in this world and in the hereafter to attain eternal peace and success.
For our guidance, Allah the All-Mighty commands us to believe and obey His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ :
"Say (O Muhammad to mankind): “If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic
Monotheism, follow the Qur’an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you your sins.
And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” Say (O Muhammad): “Obey Allah and the Messenger
(Muhammad).” But if they turn away, then Allah does not like the disbelievers.” (Qur’an 3: 31)
"O mankind! Verily, there has come to you the Messenger (Muhammad) with the truth from your
Rabb (Sustainer). So believe in him, it is better for you. But if you disbelieve, then certainly to
Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knowing, All-Wise.”
(Qur’an 4: 170)
"O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad) and render not vain your deeds.” (Qur’an 47: 33)
It is a must that we obey Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ

Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ tells us that he who obeys His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ obeys Him:
"He who obeys the Messenger (Muhammad) has indeed obeyed Allah, but he who turns away, then we have not sent you (Muhammad) as a watcher over them.” (Qur’an 4: 80)
Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ sent His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ with Guidance and the Religion of Truth (Islam) to make it prevail over all religions. Therefore, it is for our best guidance that we believe in Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ and His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ says:
"It is He (Allah) Who has sent His Messenger with Guidance and the Religion of Truth that he may proclaim it over all religion even though the Pagans may detest (it).” (Qur’an 61: 9)
“Believe therefore in Allah and His Messenger and in the Light (this Qur’an) which We have sent down. And Allah is well aware with all that you do.” (Qur’an 64:8)
If you are among those who have read some of the countless distortions written against the Prophet ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ , time has come that you believe in him as the true Messenger of Allah to all humanity. Verily,
Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is the true universal Messenger and the final Prophet of Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ . In fact, he is known as the As-Sadiq and Al-’Amin (the Truthful and the Trustworthy). Many non-Muslims who knew and listened to him during his time, embraced Islam because of his truthfulness. Indeed, Muhammad

مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is true and he teaches nothing but the Truth. Above all, he teaches us the worship of the
One True God, which is the very essence of the true religion, Islam.
Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ being the True Messenger of Allah not only sincerely believes and testifies to the Oneness of Allah, the Only True God, and Who Alone deserves all praises and true worship, but also teaches the same universal message. In one of his teachings we learn how he teaches us to glorify and testify Allah as True:
“Ibn ‘Abbas ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that when the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ got up at night to offer the Tahajjud (midnight) prayer, he used to say: “O Allah! All the praises are for you. You are the Holder of the heavens and the earth, and whatever is in them. All the praises are for You. You have the possession of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in them. All the praises are for
You. You are the Light of the heavens and the earth and all the praises are for You. You are the
King of the heavens and the earth and all the praises are for You. You are the Truth and Your
Promise is the truth, and to meet You is true. Your Word is the truth and Paradise is true, Hell is true, all the Prophets are true, Muhammad is true, and the Day of Resurrection is true. O Allah! I surrender (my will) to You. I believe in You and depend on You, repent to You, and with Your help I argue (with my opponents, the non-believers). And I take You as a Judge (to judge between us). Please forgive me my previous and future sins; and whatever I concealed or revealed.
And You are the One Who makes (some people) forward and (some) backward. There is none to be worshipped but You.” (Qur’an Bukhari 2:221, 9:482 and 534)
For your salvation, believe in Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as the true and final Messenger of
Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ and believe in the Message with which he was sent. Believe in Islam as the true religion from Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ . Take admonition from the following authentic Hadith:
“Abu Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “By Him in
Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, he amongst the community of Jews or Christians hears about me; but does not affirm his belief in that with which I have been sent (i.e., Islam) and dies in his state (of disbelief), he shall be but one of the denizens of Hell-Fire.” (Muslim 1/ 284)
As the true Messenger of Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ to all mankind the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ not only lived and demonstrated a righteous life but also has taught mankind through the Qur’an adherence to righteousness and avoidance of evil deeds. Through him we learn that Islam as the right religion enjoins nothing but righteousness. Likewise, it prohibits wrong and evil deeds. Unfortunately, most people do not know the virtuous Islamic teachings, which Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ actually demonstrated and shared to his Companions عنهم ﷲ ﻲﺿر and the rest of the Muslims for the guidance of mankind. To guide mankind with the right religion and complete way of life, Allah, our Creator and Sustainer, has commanded and commended Muslims to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. He says:
“Let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good (i.e., Islam), enjoining what is right, and forbidding what is wrong: they are the ones to attain felicity.” (Qur’an 3: 104)
“The Believers, men and women, are protectors, one to another: they enjoin what is just and forbid what is evil...” (Qur’an 9: 71)

“You are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind. You enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and believe in Allah...” (Qur'an 3:110)
The Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ also enjoins us to observe righteousness and forbid evil deeds. The following are some of the authentic Ahadeeth (teachings and statements of the Prophet is right and forbidding what is wrong:
مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ), which show how Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ enjoins us to the virtuous teaching of enjoining what
Abu Sa ‘id Al-Khudri ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that he heard Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as saying, “He who amongst you sees something abominable should modify it with the help of his hand; and if he has no strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue. And if he has no strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart and that is the least of faith.” (Qur’an Muslim, Hadeeth 79)
‘Abdullah ibn Mas’ûd ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “…By no means, I swear by Allah, you must enjoin what is good and prohibit what is evil, prevent the wrong-doer, bend him into conformity with what is right, and restrict him to what is right.” (Qur’an
Abu Dawud, 4322)
Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ not only enjoins us to adhere to righteousness but also encourages us to call people to it:
Abu Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “He who called people to righteousness, there would be reward (assured) for him like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect. And he who called
(people) to error, he shall have to carry (the burden) of its sin, like those who committed it, without their sins being diminished in any respect.” (Qur’an Muslim, Vol. 4 Hadeeth 6470)
Thawban ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “Adhere to righteousness which you will not be able to do completely, bear in mind that the best act
(amongst your deeds) is the prayer, and no one is so much particular about ablution but a believer.” (Tirmidhî, Hadeeth, 292 and Ibn Majah)
Abû Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that a person said to the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , “O
Allah’s Messenger, I intend to proceed on a journey; will you advise me?” He told him: “Adhere to righteousness, and whenever you climb a hill proclaim: ‘Allah is Great.’ “When the man turned to go, the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ supplicated: “Allah, shorten up the distance for him and make his journey easy for him.” (Tirmidhî, Hadeeth, 982)
The Qur’an mentions more divine injunctions on righteousness for the benefit of mankind. In Islam, righteousness covers all virtuous teachings. Examples are truthfulness, equality, justice, and peace. Allah
ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ not only commands the believers to fear Him but to be with those who are truthful. He tells us that the one who does wrong is he who tells a lie concerning Him and rejects the Truth (Qur’an 39: 32). He will reward the people of Truth for their Truth, and punish those who deny it (Qur’an 33: 24). He has prescribed the law of equality to the believer. Whoever exceeds the limits that Allah the Most High has set shall have a grave chastisement (Qur’an 2: 178). He has ordained for us to observe: “Life for life, eye for eye, nose for nose, ear for ear, tooth for tooth, and wounds equal for equal.” If anyone remits the retaliation by way of charity, it is an act of atonement for himself (Qur’an 5: 45).

To maintain peace among mankind, our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) forbids: all indecent deeds, evil and rebellion (Qur’an 16: 90), transgression (Qur’an 59: 19), mischief (Qur’an 28: 77), arrogance, selfishness, niggardliness (Qur’an 4: 36- 37), pride (Qur’an 31: 18), ungratefulness (Qur’an 2: 276), boasting (Qur’an 4: 38), envy (Qur’an 2: 109), making oaths to deceive others (Qur’an 16: 92), dishonesty
(Qur’an 3: 161), slandering (Qur’an 68: 11), laughing at others, sarcastic attitude, nor calling others by offensive nicknames, suspicion, spying, or speaking ill of others behind their backs (Qur’an 49: 11-12). In
Islam, to speak maliciously about someone in his absence is an abominable act. Corollary to this, Allah the
Most High has asked us to avoid suspicion as much as possible (Qur’an 49: 12). If a wicked person tells us something against someone else, we should not immediately accept it as true information. If a sinner comes to us with any news we have to ascertain the truth in order not to harm people unwittingly (Qur’an
49: 6).
Other forbidden acts in Islam include: indecent deeds, whether open or secret; sins and trespasses against truth or reason; rebellion (Qur’an 49: 7); drinking wine and gambling (Qur’an 2: 219; 5: 90-91); usury
(Qur’an 2: 275-276); extravagance (Qur’an 6: 141; 17: 26); stealing; adultery and fornication, killing of children; slandering; and forging falsehood (Qur’an 60: 12). Allah the Almighty prohibits killing and enjoins saving of life as clearly stated in the following Ayah (verse):
“…If any one kills a person, it would be as if he has killed the whole people, and if any one saves a life, it would be as if he has saved the whole people.” (Qur’an, 5:32)
Allah the Most Merciful has prohibited the taking of life, which He has made sacred, except by way of justice and law (Qur’an 6: 151). A believer should never kill a believer; but (if it so happens) by mistake, then, compensation is due (Qur’an 4: 92). If a man kills a believer intentionally, his recompense is Hell
(Qur’an 4: 93). All these show that there is no terrorism in Islam as Islam teaches nothing but righteousness, justice, peace, success and all sorts of virtuous divine teachings coming from the True God.
Non-Muslims need to know also the truth that Islam as a peaceful religion is no doubt a tolerant and moderate religion. Islam is the religion that goes for peace not war. It spreads so fast and continues to attract many non-Muslims not because of sword or by force but by words of wisdom and guidance from
Allah and His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . Non-Muslims who know and understand its beauty, rationality, practicality and completeness peacefully embrace Islam. The propaganda that “Islam was spread by swords” is nothing but a lie. Allah makes it clear that there is no compulsion in religion and that there should be freedom of religion (Qur’an 2: 256; 3: 20; 10: 99; 109: 1-6). Allah is the only God and Creator of the whole universe who Alone deserves true worship. Although Allah the Exalted has all the power to guide the whole mankind to worship Him, He makes freedom of religion as one of the guiding principles of Islam. Our
Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer, Allah) has given mankind to choose their own religion:
“Let there be no compulsion in religion: Truth stands out clear from Error. Whoever disbelieves in false deities and believes in Allah, then he has grasped the most trustworthy handhold that will never break. And Allah is All-Hearer, All-Knower.” (Qur’an 2: 256)

“...And say to the People of the Book (the Christians and the Jews) and to those who are unlearned: “Do you (also) submit yourselves?” If they do, they are in right guidance; but if they turn back, your duty is to convey the Message; and in Allah’s sight are (all) His servants.” (Qur’an
3: 20)
“If it had been Your Rabb’s Will, they would all have believed, -- all who are on earth! Will you then compel mankind against their will to believe?” (Qur’an 10: 99)
“Say: ‘O you who reject Faith! I worship not that which you worship, nor will you worship that which I worship. And I will not worship that which you are worshipping nor will you worship that which I worship. To you be your religion and to me my religion.’”(Qur’an 109: 1-6)
In the past, jihad (fighting, struggling or sacrificing for the cause of Allah) happened not because Muslims would like to impose Islam to the non-Muslims, but because, of the resistance of the non-Muslims to give freedom to its people in knowing the Truth. Allah the Almighty has commanded the Muslims to enjoin the truth and forbid evil. He has commanded them to invite people in beautiful preaching (Qur’an 16: 125).
Non-Muslims, however, resisted knowing the Truth and instead, fought against the Muslims. Non-Muslims should know that jihad is never meant to compel people to Islam. Jihad is justified to defend the weak from the hands of the oppressors for the pleasure of Allah the Most High:
“And why should you not fight in the cause of Allah and for those who, being weak, are ill treated
(and oppressed); men, women and children, whose cry is: ‘Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)!
Rescue us from this town whose people are oppressors; and raise for us from You one who will protect; and raise for us from You one who will help!’” (Qur’an 4: 75)
As the religion for peace, Islam sets the following injunctions that Muslims should observe in their relations with the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians):
“And dispute not with the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians), except in the best way, unless it be with those of them who do wrong; and say: “We believe in the Revelation which has come down to us and in that which came down to you. Our God and your God is One (Allah); and it is to Him we submit (in Islam).” (Qur’an 29: 46)
“Allah forbids you not, with regard to those who fight you not for (your) Faith nor drive you out of your homes from dealing kindly and justly with them; for Allah loves those who are just. Allah only forbids you, with regard to those who fight you for (your) Faith, and drive you out of your homes, and support (others) in driving you out, from turning to them (for friendship and protection). And whoever will befriend them, then such are the wrong doers.” (Qur’an 60: 8-9)
Furthermore, non-Muslims need to know that Islam is a moderate religion. While Islam commands us
Muslims to be constant in doing good deeds, it does not, however, enjoin us to be excessive. The rule is moderation in all our affairs as Islam is an easy religion. Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ warns us against extremism in the Religion and enjoins us to be moderate:
Abû Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the Hell Fire).” They said, “Even you, (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah’s Messenger?” He said: “No, even I, unless and until Allah bestows His
Mercy on me. Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship Allah

in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night, and always adopt a middle,
moderate, regular course whereby you will reach your Target (Paradise).” (Bukhari, Vol. 8,
Hadeeth 470)
“I warn you of extremism in the Religion for indeed those that came before you were destroyed due to their extremism in the religion.” (Nasa’I 5, Hadeeth 268, Ibn Majah 3029, Ahmad 1,
Hadeeth 215 and 347)
Both the Qur’an and the Sunnah enjoin us to be moderate instead of being extreme in our deeds:
“O you who believe! Make not unlawful the good things that God has made lawful for you, but
commit no excess: for God loves not those given to excess.” (Qur’an 5: 87)
“...But waste not by excess: for Allah loves not the wasters.” (Qur’an 6: 141)
“O children of Adam! Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and place of prayer: eat and drink: but waste not by excess, for Allah loves not the wasters.” (Qur’an 7: 31)
“Those who, when they spend, are not extravagant and not niggardly, but hold a just (balance)
between those (extremes).” (Qur’an 25: 67)
“And be moderate in your pace, and lower your voice; for the harshest of sounds without doubt is the braying of the ass.” (Qur’an 31: 19)
Corollary to the above Qur’anic injunctions, Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ also emphasizes the need for moderation as shown in the following authentic ahadeeth:
Abû Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “Religion (Islam) is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way.
So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by offering the prayers in the mornings, afternoons and during the last hours of the nights.” (Bukhari, Vol. 1, Hadeeth 38)
Abû Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that when this verse was revealed, “Whoever does evil will be required for it” (Qur’an 4: 123), and when this was conveyed to the Muslims they were greatly perturbed. Thereupon Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “Be moderate and stand firm in trouble that falls to the lot of a Muslim (as that) is an expiation for him; even stumbling on the path or the pricking of a thorn (are an expiation for him).” (Muslim, Hadeeth 6243)
For those who adhere to extremism and do not follow the way of the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , let them take admonition and warning from the following authentic hadeeth:
Anas ibn Malik ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that a group of three men came to the houses of the wives of the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ asking how the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ worshipped (Allah), and when they were informed about that, they considered their worship insufficient and said,
“Where are we from the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as his past and future sins have been forgiven.” Then one of them said, “I will offer the prayer throughout the night forever.” The other said, “I will fast throughout the year and will not break my fast.” The third said, “I will keep away

from the women and will not marry forever.” Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ came to them and said, “Are you the same people who said so-and-so? By Allah, I am more submissive to Allah and more afraid of Him than you; yet I fast and break my fast, I do sleep and I also marry women.
So he who does not follow my tradition in religion, is not from me (not one of my followers).”
(Bukhari, Vol. 7, Hadeeth 1)
Islam invites the People of the Book (the Jews and the Christians) to adopt moderation in their beliefs about
Jesus Christ, the son of Mary. The Jews extremely degrade Jesus by disbelieving him as a prophet of God.
To them he is “an impostor”. The Christians extremely honor Jesus; they believe him more than just a prophet of God. To them, he is “the Son of God” and “one in a Trinity”. Allah the Only True God admonishes them for being excessive in their beliefs:
“Curses were pronounced on those among the Children of Israel who rejected Faith, by the tongue of David and of Jesus the son of Mary; because they disobeyed and persisted in
Excesses.” (Qur’an 5: 78)
The Qur’an guides non-Muslims (especially the Jews and the Christians) of the truth about Jesus Christ.
Jesus was truly one of the messengers of Allah and not an impostor as misunderstood by the Jews. Jesus was no more than a servant of Allah to the Children of Israel (Qur’an 43: 59). He was a Sign to them
(Qur’an 23: 50). He was the son of Mary (Qur’an 3: 45) and not the son of Allah (Qur’an 9: 30). Under
Allah’s will, he performed miracles (Qur’an 3: 49). Therefore, the Christians must not over glorify him to be
God for he is not Allah (Qur’an 5:17).
Christ’s creation was like that of Adam. Allah created Adam from dust, then said to him: ‘Be’ and he was
(Qur’an 3: 59). Jesus was the son of Mary (Qur’an 3: 45) and not the son of Allah (Qur’an 9: 30). He was
Allah’s helper (Qur’an 61: 14) held in honor in this world and the Hereafter and of (Qur’an the company of) those nearest to Allah (Qur’an 3: 45). He was in company and ranks of the righteous Prophets (Qur’an 3:
46; 6: 85). He was (no more than) a Messenger of Allah (Qur’an 4: 171). In blasphemy indeed are those that say that Allah is Christ the son of Mary (Qur’an 5: 17). Allah sent Jesus the Gospel as a guidance and admonition to those who fear Allah (Qur’an 5: 46). Christ did not teach false worship (Qur’an 5: 116-117).
He taught his disciples to worship Allah as a Way that is straight (Qur’an 3: 51).
Therefore, Christians should be moderate in their belief about Jesus as he is not God. Allah the God is
Unique. There is no one who is like Him. He is not like any man that he should have a son or daughter. He is not like any creation that He should have a father. He is not one of the Trinity that the Christians are believing. Allah says:
“Say: ‘He is Allah, the One; Allah, the Eternal, Absolute, He begets not, nor is He begotten; and there is none like unto Him.’” (Qur’an 112:1-4)
"O people of the Scripture (Christians)! Do not exceed the limits in your religion, nor say of Allah aught but the truth. The Jesus, son of Mary, was (no more than) a Messenger of Allah and His
Word, ("Be!" - and he was) which He bestowed on Mary and a spirit created by Him; so believe in
Allah and His Messengers. Say not: "Three (trinity)!" Cease! (it is) better for you. For Allah is (the only) One God, glory be to Him (Far Exalted is He) above having a son. To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is All-Sufficient as a Disposer of affairs.
(Qur'an 4:171)

"Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One God, Allah. And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them." ( Qur'an 5:3)
Jesus is nothing compared to Allah, the Almighty. He was only one of the great prophets and messengers of Allah. As a prophet he prophesied to the Children of Israel the coming of a messenger after him, whose name was Ahmad (i.e., the Prophet Muhammad, صلي الله عليه وسلم :
“And when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, “O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of
Allah to you confirming what came before me of the Torah and bringing good tidings of a messenger to come after me, whose name is Ahmad. But when he came to them with clear evidence, they said, ‘This is obvious magic.’”(Qur’an 61: 6)
Note that Ahmad which means “the Praise one” is the name that Allah the Most Praiseworthy, Most
Merciful gave to His Universal Messenger, Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . It is one of the names of the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , a beautiful name which befits him for being Allah’s Mercy to mankind.
The many Qur’anic Ayat about Prophet Jesus show Allah’s mercy and guidance to the Jews and the
Christians. They need to realize that the Qur’an comes from Allah the Only True God, Who Alone deserves true worship. The Qur’an serves as the enlightenment and the source of peace for the believers. It guides them from darkness to light, leading them to the Right Path.
Likewise, Muslims are admonished not to be excessive in their praise of Prophet Muhammad ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
مﻠﺳو . No less than the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ himself who said in the following authentic Hadeeth narrated by Bin ‘Abbas ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر saying:
“Do not praise me excessively as Jesus, the son of Mary was praised, but call me Allah’s Slave and His Messenger...” (Bukhari, Vol. 8, Hadeeth 817)
Allah the Almighty God makes it clear to us that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is no more than a man prophet whose mission is nothing but to convey the universal message of Tawheed (worship of one God,
Allah) which is the right belief and also to teach mankind to do righteousness in order to attain ultimate success:
“Say (O Muhammad): I am only a man like you. I have been inspired that your God is One God
(Allah). So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Rabb (God, Cherisher and Sustainer), let him work righteousness and associate none as a partner in the worship of his Rabb.” (Qur’an 18: 110)
In order to avoid evil deeds, Allah the Almighty commands us to show enmity to Satan, the accursed. Allah
ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ directs us to keep away from evil thoughts and deeds. He reminds us not to let Satan seduce us to follow his way for he is an avowed enemy to us. Allah, the Exalted, admonishes us:

“O mankind! Eat of what is on earth, lawful and good; and do not follow the footsteps of Satan for he is to you an avowed enemy. For he commands you what is evil and shameful, and that you should say of Allah that of which you have no knowledge.” (Qur’an 2: 168-169)
“O you children of Adam! Let not Satan seduce you, in the same manner as he got your parents out of the Garden, stripping them of their raiment, to expose their shame: for he and his tribe see you from a position where you cannot see them. We made Satan’s friends (only) for those without
Faith.” (Qur’an 7: 27)
“... For Satan is to man an avowed enemy!” (Qur’an 12: 5)
“O you who believe! Follow not Satan’s footsteps. If any will follow the footsteps of Satan, he will (but) command what is shameful and wrong. And were it not for the Grace and Mercy of Allah on you, not one of you would ever have been pure. But Allah does purify whom He pleases. And
Allah is One Who hears and knows (all things).” (Qur’an 24: 21)
“Verily, Satan is an enemy to you: so treat him as an enemy. He only invites his adherents that they may become companions of the Blazing Fire.” (Qur’an 35: 6)
We have to avoid Satan by all means. Allah the Omnipotent, Most Powerful reminds us that Satan makes promises, only to deceive us. Satan only wants us to go astray. Those who take Satan as a friend will surely dwell in Hell. Our Creator makes clear to us:
“Satan threatens you with poverty and bids you to conduct unseemly. Allah promises you
His Forgiveness and Bounties. And Allah cares for all and He knows all things.” (Qur’an 2: 268)
“Whoever forsaking Allah, takes Satan for a friend, has of a surety suffered a loss that is manifest. Satan makes them promises, and creates in them false desires; but Satan’s promises
are nothing but deception. They (his dupes) will have their dwelling in Hell, and from it they will find no way of escape.” (Qur’an 4: 119-121)
Allah the Almighty is our Guardian Rabb (Qur’an 2: 21-22) and Protector (Qur’an 2: 257). The following Verses in the Qur’an should enlighten non-Muslim readers of this booklet and make them realize that Allah the Most High guides us to seek His Protection from Satan’s influence:
“If a suggestion from Satan assails your (Qur’an mind), seek refuge with Allah; for He hears and knows (Qur’an all things). Those who fear Allah, when a thought of evil from Satan assaults them, bring Allah to remembrance, when verily, they see (Qur’an aright)!” (Qur’an 7: 200-201)
“And if (Qur’an at any time) an incitement to discord is made to you by the Satan, seek refuge in
Allah. He is the One Who hears and knows all things.” (Qur’an 41: 36)
All the Qur’anic Ayaat (Verses) quoted clearly prove that Allah is the True God worthy of our worship, the
Qur’an is Allah’s Divine Word and that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is Allah’s Messenger. Whoever brands
Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as a “liar”, “evil”, “demon-possessed”, is a follower of Satan as he is a liar who spreads lies. Likewise, whoever thinks “Islam is Evil” or “the religion from Evil” should repent to Allah (The
God). Verily, Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ is the Only True God, Who is the Source of Peace and Success. Those who

follow Satan, worship other but false gods instead of the True God and follow other ways instead of Islam according to the Qur’an and the Sunnah should take admonition from the following verses of the Qur’an:
“Those who reject Our Signs, We shall soon cast them into the Fire; as often as their skins are roasted through. We shall change them for fresh skins, that they may taste the Chastisement, for
Allah is Exalted in Power, All-Wise.” (Qur’an 4:56)
“In front of such a one is Hell, and he is given for drink, boiling fetid water. In gulps will he sip it, but never will he be near swallowing it down his throat. Death will come to him from every quarter, yet will he not die, and in front of him will be a chastisement unrelenting.” (Qur’an 14:16-
17)
“And you will see the Sinners that Day bound together in fetters -- their garments of liquid pitch, and their faces covered with Fire; that Allah may requite each soul according to its deserts; and verily Allah is Swift in calling to account.” (Qur’an 14:49-51)
“…But those who deny (their God) -- for them will be cut out a garment of Fire. Over their heads will be poured out boiling water. With it will be scalded what is within their bodies, as well as
(their) skins. In addition, there will be maces of iron (to punish) them. Every time they wish to get away there from, from anguish, they will be forced back therein, and (it will be said), ‘Taste the
Penalty of Burning!’” (Qur’an 22:19-22)
“As to those who are rebellious and wicked, their abode will be the Fire. Every time they wish to get away there from, they will be forced thereunto, and it will be said to them: ‘Taste the Penalty of the Fire, which you were wont to reject as false.’” (Qur’an 32:20)
“This is the Hell of which you were promised! Embrace the (Fire) this Day, for that you
(persistently) rejected (the Truth).” (Qur’an 36:63-64)
“…But for the wrongdoers will be an evil place of (final) Return! Hell! They will be burned therein
-- an evil bed (indeed to lie on)! Yea, such! Then shall they taste it -- a boiling fluid, and a fluid dark, murky, intensely cold and other Penalties of a similar kind, to match them.” (Qur’an
38:55-58)
“Who, then, does more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah and rejects the Truth when it comes to him? Is there not in Hell an abode for the Unbelievers?” (Qur’an 39:32)
“The Unbelievers will be led to Hell in-groups: until, when they arrive there, its gates will be opened. And its Keepers will say, ‘Did not Messengers come to you from among yourselves, rehearsing to you the Verses of your Rabb, and warning you of Meeting of this Day of yours?’
The answer will be: ‘Yes, but the Decree of Chastisement has been proved true against the
Unbelievers!’ (To them) will be said: ‘Enter you the gates of Hell, to dwell therein; and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant.’” (Qur’an 39:71-72)
With all the severe punishments in the Hell-Fire, would you then continue to follow Satan and do all his evil temptations? Know that happiness in this world is just temporary, Satan’s promises of “unlimited wealth, easy life, happiness, fames, glory, success, etc.” in this world are just temporary but punishment in the life hereafter is eternal. With all the authentic proofs from the Qur’an and the Sunnah leading to eternal peace

and supreme success, the best guide is for you to avoid Satan and do not follow any of his various ways to deceive people. Be rational to choose the best decision by following the next guide.
Time has come for you to be rational and decide objectively. For your own complete success and eternal happiness, open your mind and heart to Islam. Remember that Allah makes it very clear that the only religion acceptable to Him is Islam. He says:
“The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will). Nor did the People of the Book (i.e., the Jews and the Christians) dissent there from except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account.” (Qur’an 3:19)
“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah), never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (i.e., who will be in the
Fire).” (Qur’an 3:85)
“Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah …?” (Qur’an 4:125)
I invite you to sincerely believe and testify that Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ is the Only God (worthy of true worship) and that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as the Messenger of Allah. Ask yourself, do you sincerely believe in this two testimonies of Faith in Islam (Ash-Shahadatain)? When your answer is positive then you are a
Muslim, one who peacefully submits to the Will of Allah in Islam. Then sincerely recite the Shahadatain, say: “Ashadu la ilaha illa Allah, wa ashadu ana Muhammad Abduhu wa Rasulullah.” (“I bear witness that there is no true God worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and I bear witness that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is His true slave and Messenger.” After performing the two testimonies of Faith, perform ghusl (bath for purification) with the intention from the heart of doing the purification for the pleasure of Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ for embracing Islam.
As soon as you sincerely declare your Shahadatain receive the good news that your sins are forgiven and that all your good deeds prior to embracing Islam will be rewarded. Here are the authentic proofs from the
Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ :
Abu Said Al-Khudri ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “If a person embraces Islam sincerely, then Allah shall forgive all his past sins, and after that starts the settlement of accounts, the reward of his good deeds will be ten times to seven hundred times for each good deed and an evil deed will be recorded as it is unless Allah forgives it.” (Bukhari, Vol.
1, Hadith 40)
Hakim ibn Hizam ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated: "I said to Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , “Before embracing Islam I used to do good deeds like giving in charity, slave-manumitting, and the keeping of good relations with kith and kin. Shall I be rewarded for those deeds?” The Prophet
مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ replied, “You became Muslim with all those good deeds (without losing their reward).” (Bukhari, Vol. 2, Hadith 517)

Congratulations! When you choose Allah instead of Satan it means you have chosen the Right Path leading to Allah and thus, enjoy the blessings of eternal peace and success in the life hereafter. You have chosen the only True God who will protect and save you from being in the company of Satan whose eternal abode along with his followers will be in the hell fire forever. Take inspiration from the following Prophet's
hadeeth:
Anas Bin Malik ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “Whoever said 'La
ilaha ila-Allah' (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain, will be taken out of hell. And whoever said La ilaha ila-Allah
(none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain, will be taken out of hell. And whoever said La ilaha ila-Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom, or a small ant, will be taken out of hell.”
(Bukhari, Vol. 1 Hadeeth 42)
Know that everyone of us has two guardian Angels: one on the right taking records of every good deed that everyone of us thinks, says and does; and the other one on the left taking record of every evil deed that anyone of us says and does. Here are the proofs:
"Behold, two guardian angels appointed to learn a man’s doings learn and note them, one sitting on the right and one on the left. Not a word does he utter but there is a sentinel by him, ready to note it." (Quran 50:17-18)
“O man! What has made you careless about your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer), the Most
Generous? Who created you, fashioned you perfectly, and gave you due proportion. In whatever form He willed, He put you together. Nay! But you deny the Day of Recompense. But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you, Kiraaman (Honorable) Kaatibeen
—writing down (your deeds). They know all that you do.” (Quran 82:6-12)
Abû Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿ ر narrated that the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “Allah ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be written. He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good deed (in his account with Him). If he intends to do a good deed and actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times. If somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write a full good deed (in his account) with Him; and if he intended to do it
(a bad deed) and actually did it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account).” (Bukhâri, Vol.
8, Hadeeth 498 and Vol. 9 Hadeeth 592)
1. Belief in One God:
“...But if they had joined in worship others with Allah, all that they used to do would have been of no benefit to them.” (Qur’an 6: 88)

“And indeed it has been revealed to you (O Muhammad), as it was to those (Allah’s Messengers) before you: “If you join others in worship with Allah, (then) surely (all) your deeds will be in vain, and you will certainly be among the losers.” (Qur’an 39: 65)
2. Sincerity of purpose (Ikhlâs) or doing good deeds for the pleasure of Allah the Most Merciful:
“And they have been commanded no more than this: to worship Allah, offering Him sincere devotion, being True (in Faith); establish regular prayer; and to give zakat (charity). And that is the Religion Right and Straight.” (Qur’an 98: 5)
“Say: ‘Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death are (all) for Allah, the
Rabb (Only Cherisher and Sustainer) of the Worlds.'” (Qur’an 6: 162)
‘Umar Ibn Al-Khattab ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر said: I heard Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ saying, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended....” (Bukhâri, Vol. 1, Hadeeth 1 and Muslim3, Hadeeth 4692)
3. Deeds must be in accordance with the Qur’an and the Sunnah:
“O you who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger (Muhammad) and render not vain your deeds.” (Qur’an 47: 33)
After the sincere declaration of faith, the next thing that you should do is to learn how to do ablution and worship Allah, the way Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ taught us to worship Him. Know that the
Qur’an is the only Book from the God that consistently guides mankind to worship the One True God, Who
Alone is the Creator of the worlds, mankind, and all living beings that exist. In fact, it is the only Book that makes clear to us why Allah has created us. To reiterate, Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ says:
“That is Allah, your Rabb (Only God, Cherisher and Sustainer)! There is no god but He, the
Creator of all things: so, worship Him (Alone) and He has power to dispose of all affairs.” (Qur’an
6:102-103)
"I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship me. I do not want from them any sustenance and I do not want (from them) that they feed Me. Indeed Allah is the provider, the possessor of power and strength.” (Qur’an 51:56-58)
The performance of Salâh (prayer) is “the first act of worship” that Allah has made obligatory for all believers (in Allah and His Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ). Prophet Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ received the revelation to perform Salâh during his ascension to heaven. In a Sahîh (authentic) Hâdeeth (teaching of the
Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ) Anas ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿ ر reported:
“The prayers were made obligatory on the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ the night of his ascension to heaven. At first, they were fifty in number, but were reduced several times until they were five.
Then it was proclaimed, ‘O Muhammad, the order is not changed. These five are (equivalent) to the fifty.’” (Ahmad, An-Nasâi, and Tirmidhi)

Salah (prayer) is obligatory to all Muslim believers who are sane and who reach the age of Tameez (begins at the age of seven years when a child is able to distinguish between right and wrong). The following
Ahadeeth tell us:
'Aishah ﮭﺎ ﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said “The pen is raised for three (meaning: there is no obligation upon three): one who is sleeping until he awakens, the child until he becomes an adult, and one who is insane until he becomes sane.” (Abû Dâwûd, Ibn
Majah Tirmidhi Ahmad, and Hakim taken from Fiq-us Sunnah 1.80)
Amr ibn Shu'aib ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿ ر narrated from his father on the authority of his grandfather that the
Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said “Order your children to pray at the age of seven, hit them to do so at the age of ten, and separate them (the boys from the girls) in their beds.” (Ahmad, Abu Dawud and al-Hakim taken from Fiq-us Sunnah 1.80)
Another important thing that we must know about Salah is that Allah makes it obligatory for us to perform them at their specified time. Our Creator says:
“When you have finished the prayers, remember Allah, standing, sitting down, and lying down on your sides. But when you are free from danger, set up regular prayers, for such prayer, are enjoined on believers at stated times.” (Qur’an 4:103)
When you pray to Allah supplicate to Him based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Know that the Qur’an as the best Guide for all those who truly seek for peace and success is the only Book that starts and ends with the supplication from Allah for guidance and success both in this world and the eternal hereafter. It protects us from Satan or evil deeds leading to astray and hellfire. Read the following verses of Surah Al-
Fatiha (The Opening) Chapter of the Qur’an:
SURAH AL FATIHA
Chapter 1 Al Fatiha (The Opening)
1. In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful
2. Praise be to Allah, The Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) of the Worlds;
3. The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful;
4. King of the Day of Judgment.
5. You (Alone ) we worship and You Alone we ask for help.
6. Show us the straight path.
7. The path of those whom You have favored; Not (the path) of those who earn Your anger nor of those who go astray. (Qur’an 1:1-7)
Try to ponder and reflect on the above verses. Think about the message of this opening chapter of the
Book of God. Is there any book in the world that starts with this kind of supplication, which is better in terms of how the reader as a creation glorifies and praises his Creator? Is there any chapter of the book that claims to be from God or inspired by God that starts with this supplication, better than this? Now read and ponder the following verses from the last chapter of the Qur’an:

Chapter 114 The Mankind
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

1. Say: I seek refuge with the Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) of mankind,
2. The King (or Ruler) of mankind,
3. The God of mankind,
4. From the mischief of the Whisperer (Evil), who withdraws (after his whisper)
5. Who whispers into the hearts of mankind.
6. Among Jinn and among men.
First, take note of the title of this short chapter. It is about mankind, which proves that the Qur’an is Allah’s universal message to all and that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is Allah’s universal messenger to all mankind. Then, reflect some of the beautiful names and attributes of Allah – Allah being the Rabb
(Cherisher and Sustainer), The King (or Ruler) and The God of mankind. Now take note how the Qur’an guides us to seek refuge with Allah (The God) from the mischief of the Evil. See how the Qur’an guides us to turn to Allah for help and how it makes us conscious to be free from the influence of Satan or turn away from any evil promptings. Anyone who uses his mind — i.e., the ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, right from wrong, good from evil — will right away conclude that indeed, Allah is the True God and all others are false, His Book is the Qur’an and that Muhammad مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ is His Messenger to all mankind.
Know further, that the Qur’an and the Sunnah guide mankind to the best of supplications on how to attain peace and success. The following are some of the many supplications that anyone who goes for peace and success should take for guidance:
"Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Give us in this world that which is good and in the
Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!" (Qur’an 2:201)
"Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Let not our hearts deviate (from the truth) after You have guided us, and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the Bestower.” (Qur’an 3:8)
"Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! We have indeed believed, so forgive us our sins and save us from the punishment of the Fire.” (Qur’an 3:16)
"Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! You have not created (all) this without purpose, glory to
You! (Exalted be You above all that they associate with You as partners). Give us salvation from the torment of the Fire. Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Verily, whom You admit to the Fire, indeed, You have disgraced him, and never will the polytheists and wrong-doers find any helpers.
Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Verily, we have heard the call of one (Muhammad) calling to Faith: 'Believe in your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer),' and we have believed. Our Rabb
(Cherisher and Sustainer)! Forgive us our sins and remit from us our evil deeds, and make us die in the state of righteousness along with Al-Abraar (those who are obedient to Allah and follow strictly His Orders). Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Grant us what You promised unto us through Your Messengers and disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection, for You never break
(Your) Promise.” (Qur’an 3:191-194)
"Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! pour out on us patience, and cause us to die as Muslims.”
(Qur’an 7:126)

“O Allah, I ask You for knowledge which is beneficial and sustenance which is good, and deeds which are acceptable.’ Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Bestow on us mercy from Yourself, and facilitate for us our affair in the right way!" (Qur’an 18:10)
“O my Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! Increase me in knowledge.”
(Qur’an, 20:114)
"My Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! I seek refuge with You from the whisperings (suggestions) of the Shayatin (devils). And I seek refuge with You, My Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)! lest they may attend (or come near) me.” (Qur’an 23:97-98)
“Our Rabb, prevent us from the punishment of Hell. Indeed its punishment is ever (full of) anguish. Indeed, it is evil as a settlement and residence.” (Qur’an 25:65-66)
“O my Rabb! Bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous. Grant me honorable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations).” Make me one of the inheritors of the
Garden of Bliss.” (Qur’an 26:83-85)
“Our Rabb! Perfect our light for us and forgive us our sins, for verily You have power over all things.” (Qur’an 66:8)
From the Sunnah, the Prophet مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ also taught us the following supplications:
“O Allah! I have wronged my soul very much (oppressed myself), and none forgives the sins but
You; so please bestow Your Forgiveness upon me. No doubt, You are the Most Forgiving, the
Most Merciful.” (Bukhari 8:388 and 9:485)
“O Allah, guide me together with those You have guided, and strengthen me together with those
You have given strength. Take me to Your care together with those You have taken to Your care.
Bless me in what You have given me. Protect me from the evil You have ordained. Surely You command and are not commanded, and none whom You have committed to Your care shall be humiliated (and none whom You have taken as enemy shall taste glory). You are Blessed, Our
Rabb, and Exalted.” (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, An-Nasa’i, At-Tirmidhi, Ahmad, Ad-Darimi, Al-
Hakim, and Al-Baihaqi. See also Al-Albani, Sahih At-Tirmidhi 1:144 and Sahih Ibn Majah 1:194)
“O Ever Living One, O Eternal One, by Your mercy I call on You to set right all my affairs, do not place me in charge of my soul even for a moment.” (Its chain of transmission is unfailing (Sahîh),
Al-Hakim 1:545, Albani 1:273.)
“O Allah! I seek refuge with You from miserliness; and I seek refuge with You from cowardice; and I seek refuge with You from being sent back to geriatric old age; and I seek refuge with You from fitnah (trial) of this world; and I seek refuge with You from punishment in the grave.” (Al-
Bukhari)
“O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, acceptable action, and good provision.” (Tirmidhi
2487, Ahmad and Ibn Majah)

“O Allah! I seek refuge with you from the punishment in the grave and from the punishment in the
Hell fire and from the afflictions of life and death, and the afflictions of Al-Masih Ad-Dajjal.)”
(Bukhari, 2:459)

“O Allah, help me to remember You often, and to thank You often, and to perfect my worship of

The above supplications are just few of the many supplications from the Qur’an and the Sunnah for the guidance of the Muslims. They serve as the source of guidance and power to all sincere believers and worshippers of Allah. Glory be to God, how could anyone with the right sense of mind, accused Allah’s
Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as “Evil”, the Qur’an “from the Devil”, Islam as the religion “from the Devil” and the Muslims as the followers of “the Devil Religion” or “Anti-Christ” when both the Qur’an and the Sunnah clearly guide us to the Right Path leading to Allah’s Path in Paradise forever? Is there any of the supplications in Islam that prove contrary to the right way of pleasing Allah (The God)? Think of the supplications written on any of the books that claims to be from God, are they as comprehensive, meaningful and useful to the readers like the above supplications? Are they pleasing to the God that deserve answers and rewards from Him for the readers to attain peace and success in this world and in the eternal life hereafter?
As a form of complete guidance, Allah our Creator enjoins us to believe in the whole of the Qur’an, which includes adherence to the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger the rest of its teachings and follow Satan's ways:
مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , and enter into Islam wholeheartedly. He warns us of the grievous punishments in the life hereafter for those who reject
“…Then is it only a part of the Book that you believe in and do you reject the rest? But what is the reward for those among you who behave like this but disgrace in this life?
And on the Day of Judgment they shall be consigned to the most grievous chastisement

for Allah is not unmindful of what you do. These are the people who buy the life of this world at the price of the Hereafter. Their chastisement shall not be lightened nor shall they be helped.” (Qur’an 2:85-86)
“O you who believe! Enter into Islam wholeheartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the Evil
One, for he is to you an avowed enemy.” (Qur’an 2:208)
“O you who believe! Fear Allah as He should be feared and die not except in a state of
Islam that you may be guided.” (Qur’an 3:102-103)
The final guide, therefore, is for us to enter into Islam wholeheartedly. Hence, there is no room for secularism, bid’ah (innovation in religion), extremism, terrorism, any evil practice and deviant sect outside the fold of the Qur’an and the Sunnah. This is a very clear divine guidance from our Only Creator, Allah.
When you sincerely submit to Allah in Islam, Allah will surely reward you tremendous rewards of peace and eternal success forever. Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) rewards the righteous the Garden of Paradise as their final abode (Qur’an 25:15-16). They shall have joy in all that they do and shall have whatever they call for (Qur’an 36:55-57). The greatest Bliss, however, is the Good Pleasure of Allah: that is the supreme success (Qur’an 9:72). The believers will see Allah while those who disbelieve in Allah will never see Allah in the eternal world. Our Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) says in the Qur’an:
“Faces shining brightly (Believers) on the Day of Resurrection will look at their Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer).” (Qur’an 70 22-23)
“They (disbelievers) will be deprived of seeing their Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer) on that Day.”
(Qur’an 83: 15)
Imagine seeing the One Who created you and blessed you with Islam in this world and you will be seeing
Him in Paradise? Will you not be delighted to see your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer)? Read the following authentic ahadeeth (Prophet’s teachings/statements) about seeing Allah the Almighty in Paradise:
Suhayb ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر reported the Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “When the inhabitants of
Paradise enter Paradise, Allah will say to them, ‘Do you want Me to give you anything more?’
They will reply, ‘Have You not made our faces bright? Have You not brought us into Paradise and moved us from Hell?’ Allah will then remove the Veil and they will feel that they have not been awarded anything dearer to them than looking at their Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer).” (Sahih
Muslim)
Abu Sa'id Al-Khudhri, ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر said Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, "Allah, the Rabb of honour and glory, will say to the inhabitants of Jannah' 'O inhabitants of Jannah!' They will respond: 'Here we are! At Your service, O our Rabb. All good is in Your Hand!' He will ask them:
'Are you pleased?' They will reply: 'Why should we not be pleased, O Rabb, when You have given us what You have not given to any of Your creatures?' Allah will say: 'Shall I not give you something better than that?' They will ask: 'O Rabb! What can be better than that?' Allah will say:
'I shall bestow My Pleasure upon you and I shall never be displeased with you.' " (Al-Bukhari and
Muslim)
Allah promises the Believers the eternal Garden where they will enjoy eternal comfort and peace. His promise is the truth, it will come for sure. He says:
“But those who believe and do deeds of righteousness -- We shall soon admit them to Gardens, with rivers flowing beneath -- to dwell therein forever. Allah’s promise is the truth, and whose word can be truer than Allah’s?” (Qur’an 4:122)

“This is the Way of your Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer), leading straight. We have detailed the
Signs for those who receive admonition. For them, will be a Home of Peace in the presence of their Rabb. He will be their Friend, because they practiced (righteousness).” (Qur’an 6:126-127)
“But Allah does call to the Home of Peace. He does guide whom He pleases to a Way that is straight. To those who do right is a goodly (reward) -- Yea, more (than in measure). No darkness or shame shall cover their faces. They are Companions of the Garden; they will abide therein (forever).” (Qur’an 10:25-26)
Those who fulfill the Covenant of Allah and sail not in their plighted word, those who join together those things which Allah has commanded to be joined, hold their Rabb in awe, and fear the terrible reckoning; those who patiently persevere, seeking the countenance of their Rabb, establish regular prayers, spend, out of the gifts) We have bestowed for their sustenance, secretly and openly, and turn off Evil with good: for such there is the final attainment of the
(Eternal) Home Gardens of perpetual bliss. They shall enter there, as well as the righteous among their fathers, their spouses, and their offspring. And angels shall enter unto them from every gate (with the salutation): ‘Peace unto you for that you persevered in patience!’ Now how excellent is the final Home. (Qur’an 13:20-24)
“The righteous will be amid Gardens and fountains of clear-flowing water. (Their greeting will be):
‘Enter you here in Peace and Security.’ And We shall remove from their hearts any lurking sense of injury: (they will be) brothers (joyfully) facing each other on raised couches.” (Qur’an 15:45-47)
“Except those who repent and believe, and work righteousness, for these will enter the Garden and will not be wronged in the least -- Gardens of Eternity, those which (Allah) Most Gracious has promised to His servants in the Unseen, for His promise must (necessarily) come to pass.
They will not there hear any vain discourse, but only salutations of Peace. And they will have therein their sustenance, morning and evening. Such is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our Servants who guard against evil.” (Qur’an 19:60-63)
“Verily, the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do; they and their associates will be in pleasant shade, reclining on raised couches; (every) fruit will be there for them. They shall have whatever they call for; Peace! -- a Word (of salutation) from a Rabb Most
Merciful.” (Qur’an 36:55-58)
“And those who feared their Rabb will be led to the Garden (Paradise) in groups, until behold, they arrive there. Its gates will be opened; and its Keepers will say: ‘Peace be upon you! Well have you done! Enter you here, to dwell therein.’ They will say: ‘Praise be to Allah, Who has truly fulfilled His promise to us, and has given us (this) land in heritage. We can dwell in the Garden as we will. How excellent a reward for those who work (righteousness)!’ And you will see the angels surrounding the Throne (Divine) on all sides, chanting Glory and Praise to their Rabb (Cherisher and Sustainer). The Decision between them (at Judgment) will be in (perfect) justice, and the cry
(on all sides) will be, ‘Praise be to Allah, the Rabb of the Worlds.’” (Qur’an 39:73-75)
“As to the Righteous, (they will be) in a position of Security, among Gardens and Springs; dressed in fine silk and rich brocade. They will face each other. Moreover, We shall wed them to maidens with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; nor will they there taste Death, except the first Death. And He will preserve them

from the Chastisement of the Blazing Fire -- as a Bounty from the Rabb! That will be the supreme achievement.” (Qur’an 44:51-57)
“And the Garden will be brought nigh to the Righteous -- no more a thing distant. (A voice will say:) ‘This is what was promised for you for every penitent heedful one, who feared the Most
Gracious Unseen, and brought a heart turned in devotion (to Him). Enter you therein in Peace and Security. This is a Day of Eternal Life!’ There will be for them therein all that they wish’ and there is more with Us.” (Qur’an 50:31-35)
And those Foremost (in Faith) will be foremost (in the Hereafter). These will be those Nearest to
Allah: in the Gardens of Bliss: a number of people from those of old, and a few from those of later times. (They will be) on couches encrusted (with gold and precious stones), reclining on them facing each other. Round about them will (serve) youths of perpetual (freshness), with goblets,
(shining) beakers, and cups (filled) out of clear-flowing fountains. No after-ache will they receive there from, or will they suffer intoxication: and with fruits, any that they may select; and the flesh of fowls, any that they may desire. And (there will be) Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes -- like unto Pearls well-guarded, a Reward for the Deeds of their past (Life). No frivolity will they Hear therein, nor any mischief, -- only the saying “Peace! Peace.” (Qur’an 56:10-

In line with the above descriptions of paradise in the Holy Qur’an, Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ further describes life in Paradise as follows:
Abu Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “The first group of people who will enter Paradise will be glittering like the full moon, and those who will follow them, will glitter like the most brilliant star in the sky. They will not urinate, relieve nature, spit, or have any nasal secretions. Their combs will be of gold, and their sweat will smell like musk. The aloes-wood will be used in their censers...” (Bukhari, Vol. 4 Hadeeth 544)
Abu Sa’id Al Khudri and Abu Hurairah عنهم
مﻠﺳو
ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
said: “There would be an announcer (in Paradise) who would make this announcement:
‘Verily! There is in store for you (everlasting) health and that you should never fall ill and that you live (forever) and do not die at all; and that, you would remain young and never grow old; and that you would always live in affluent circumstances and never become destitute, as words of Allah, the Exalted and Glorious, are: “And it would be announced to them: ‘This is the Paradise. You have been made to inherit it for what you used to do.’”(Muslim, Hadeeth 6803)
Suhayb ibn Sinan Ar-Rumi narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “When those deserving of Paradise would enter Paradise, the Blessed and the Exalted would ask: Do you wish
Me to give you anything more? They would say: Have You not brightened our faces? Have You not made us enter Paradise and saved us from Fire? He (the narrator) said: He (Allah) would lift the veil, and of things given to them nothing would be dearer to them than the sight of their Rabb, the Mighty and the Glorious.” (Muslim, Hadeeth 347)
Abu Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “Seventy thousand (persons) would enter Paradise as one group and among them (there would be people) whose faces would be bright like the moon.” (Muslim, Hadeeth 421)

Jabir ibn Abdullah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated: I heard Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as saying
“The inmates of Paradise would eat and drink but would neither spit, nor pass water, nor void excrement, nor suffer catarrh. It was said: Then, what would happen with food? Thereupon he said: They would belch and sweat (and it would be over with their food), and their sweat would be that of musk and they would glorify and praise Allah as easily as you breathe.” (Muslim, Hadeeth

Abu Hurairah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر narrated that Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said: “He who would get into Paradise (would be made to enjoy such an everlasting) bliss that he would neither become destitute, nor would his clothes wear out, nor his youth would decline.” (Muslim, Hadeeth

The Qur’an and the Sunnah serve as the best sources of knowledge and guidance that help us attain eternal peace and happiness in the Hereafter. If you find this world full of misery and troubles, you must work for your eternal peace in the Hereafter. Likewise, if you are among those who find some sort of contentment or happiness in this world still turn to Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ . Remember, life in this world is nothing but temporary. Seek for eternal peace and success by turning to Allah through the Qur’an and the Sunnah.
Follow Islam according to these two authentic sources of knowledge and guidance in order to enjoy real and everlasting happiness in the Hereafter. Allah ﻰﻟﺎﻌﺗ و ﮫﻧﺎﺣﺑﺳ promises eternal peace in Paradise to all those who follow His Right Path, Islam. All non-Muslim readers as well as those who claim to be Muslims but have deviated from the Qur’an and the Sunnah are invited to enter into Islam wholeheartedly. Follow
Allah’s Messenger مﻠﺳو ﮫﯾﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as it is only by adhering to his Sunnah that we please our Rabb
(Cherisher and Sustainer). Through him, Allah has completed His favor upon us and perfected Islam as the only acceptable Religion to Him.
“...This day have I perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion.” (Qur’an, 5: 3)
Remember when you become a Muslim you are not supposed to segregate yourself with your fellow
Muslims who follow the Sunnah of the Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . You should not make any difference with any of the so-called Madhhabs or School of Thoughts in Islam such as: Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi΄i, and
Hanbali. All the four scholars, although they have very minor differences, did was to follow the Prophet’s
Sunnah. Their negligible or very minor differences out of their interpretations do not make them deviate from the way of our beloved Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . So see to it that your way should be the way of the
Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , following the Qur’an and the Sunnah or whatever authentic ahadeeth (teachings of the Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ). You only follow any Muslim scholar whose teachings are based on these two authentic sources of knowledge and guidance: the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Beware of committing shirk
(associating partner with Allah), bid’ah (innovation in religion) and fabricated ahadeeth.
Know that when you become a true Muslim, people will brand you “Wahhabi” or “Fundamentalist”. Know

Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab was a great man, an outstanding reformer and a zealous preacher from
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He was educated by his father, Shaikh Abdul Wahhab Ibn Sulaiman, who was a great jurisprudent and the Judge of Oyayna, Saudi Arabia. He called people to the Path of Allah and guided them to piety, righteousness and love in the cause of Allah -- following and reviving the Sunnah of the
Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ . He strove hard to call people to Islam according to the Qur’an and the Sunnah

– one that is free from Shirk (associating partners with Allah) and Bid’ah (Innovation in Religion).

Sheikh Muhammad bin Salih Al-Uthaimeen, a renown Muslim scholar also from Saudi Arabia wrote
“Commentary on the Three Fundamental Principles of Islam” written by Imam Abdul Wahhab. Sheikh Al-
Uthaimeen authored many enlightening Islamic books

and the commentary of one of the books of the honorable Imam Abdul Wahhab is just one of them. This proves how people of knowledge love those whom
Allah loves. Read the following Hadith Qudsi:
On the authority of Abu Hurayrah ﮫﻧﻋ ﷲ ﻲﺿر who said that the Messenger of Allah ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
ﻢﻠﺳو said: "If Allah has loved a servant [of His], He calls Gabriel (on whom be peace) and says: 'I love So-and-so, therefore love him.'" He (the Prophet - peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "So Gabriel loves him. Then he (Gabriel) calls out in heaven, saying: 'Allah loves Soand-so, therefore love him.' And the inhabitants of heaven love him." He (the Prophet ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ) said: "Then acceptance is established for him on earth. And if Allah has abhorred a servant [of His], He calls Gabriel and says: 'I abhor So-and-so, therefore abhor him.' So Gabriel abhors him. Then Gabriel calls out to the inhabitants of heaven: 'Allah abhors So-and-so, therefore abhor him.'" He (the Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ ) said: "So they abhor him, and abhorrence is established for him on earth." (Muslim, al-Bukhari, Malik, and at-Tirmidhi)
Imam Abdul Wahhab's famous book Kitab At-Tawhid (The Book of the Oneness of God), which was translated in different languages, is something that certainly pleases Allah. Those who criticize Imam
Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab are invited to read his exemplary works and contributions to Islam. His critics need to fear Allah and show respect to the great scholar of Islam as his noble works speak for himself as one who strictly adhered to the Qur’an and the Sunnah, revived Islam according to these authentic knowledge and guidance and invited people to the pure Islam according to the Prophet’s way.
Satan is behind those who are criticizing Imam Abdul Wahhab. They must know that if there was a Muslim scholar during his time people should follow, it should be him. He was born, raised and educated in Saudi
Arabia, where Prophet Muhammad ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ was born, lived and died. He spoke Arabic, the same language, the Prophet ﻢﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ spoke, which is the language of the Qur’an and the authentic
Ahadeeth. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah), through him, most of the people of Saudi Arabia are implementing the Prophet’s Sunnah. Although they respect very much Imam Abdul Wahhab, they never claim to be “Wahhabi” as to do so is like creating a separate sect, outside the Prophet’s Sunnah. They know that the great Muslim scholar and reformist did not bring something new to Islam. All his teachings as reflected in his books were based on authentic knowledge of Islam. All what he did was to bring back Islam

according to the Prophet’s Sunnah. The Sunni Muslims in Saudi Arabia and all countries worldwide strictly adhere to the Path that Allah has guided His Messenger ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ .
Islam spread so fast and continue to spread worldwide through many Muslims who studied authentic knowledge of Islam in Saudi Arabia especially in the Islamic University in Madinah. In addition, expatriates from different countries who are working in Saudi Arabia and their families who are staying with them learn
Islam through the numerous (Arabic, Islamic Studies and Qur’an) Islamic Jaliaat (Islamic Learning
Centers), which some Saudi philanthropists offer free to the public. Those who have misconceptions about
Muslims in Saudi, learn to love them when they meet them as their teachers and/or friends in Islamic
Studies, Qur’an and Arabic language. The reason is the teachers are knowledgeable of Islam and thus, apply Islam in their day to day dealings with other people. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to Allah) that He has given me opportunity to learn Islam in Saudi Arabia and benefited a lot from joining two of the Islamic
Jaliaat (Islamic Learning Centers) in Riyadh: Daar Adh-Dhikr where I studied for more than three years and the WAMY Women’s Committee for Non-Arabic Women Speakers where I also studied and later given the opportunity to teach Islam and organize various Islamic public lectures and trainings for Non-Arabic Muslim and Non-Muslim women in different countries for almost four years. I pray to Allah to reward all my Saudi
Arabic, Qur’an and Islamic Studies teachers, and the administrators/organizers of both learning centers as well as Saudi friends with ultimate peace and success in Jannatul Firdaws (Highest Place in
Paradise). Ameen.
It is unfortunate for some expatriates who meet few Saudis who are not fully implementing Islam by not showing the best behavior and characters that Islam offers to mankind. It is also unfortunate that due to the so-called fallacy of generalization, there are Non-Muslims who associate the misbehavior done to them by a few Muslims to Islam. So instead of reading the true Message of Islam, they continue to put hatred in their hearts and minds from knowing this perfect religion from the Only True God. They should do justice to their souls to search for the Truth about Islam. For their guidance, they should read, understand, reflect and follow the guides written in this work. Let the authentic words of Allah and His Messenger ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ
ﻢﻤﻠﺳو speak to themselves. Let the best Book and the best Guidance open their hearts and minds to show them to the Right Path, Islam:
Allah’s Messenger ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “The best speech is that embodied in the Book of
Allah (the Qur’an), and the best guidance is the guidance given by Muhammad (the Sunnah). The most evil affairs are their (religious) innovations (in Islam); and every (religious) innovation is an error.” (Muslim 1885)
Allah’s Messenger ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ said, “…O People no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new Faith will be born. Reason well therefore, O People and understand words, which
I convey to you. I leave behind me two things, the Qur’an and my example the Sunnah and if you follow these you will never go astray.” (Muslim)
Non-Muslims and so-called Muslims who have deviated from the Right Path, those who follow other ways and sects outside the Sunnah of Allah’s Messenger ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ , are invited to read and understand the Qur’an and the Sunnah (authentic Ahadeeth) of the Prophet ﻢﻤﻠﺳو ﮫﯿﻠﻋ ﷲ ﻲﻠﺻ as well as articles and books written by Muslim scholars based on these two authentic and divine source of knowledge and guidance. With the use of technology through the internet, learning authentic knowledge of Islam becomes easy either through formal education by earning a college degree in Islamic Studies online or merely by self-reading. Studies (WISHES), which my husband Dr. Mamarinta-Omar Mababaya and I organized in 2003. It is the first accredited international online institution in the Philippines and the first online institution in the world, which offers degrees on Islamic Studies up to the doctoral level based on the authentic sources of knowledge and guidance in Islam – i.e., the Qur’an and the Sunnah. The curriculum, which is the product of my years of reading on Islam, was presented to some professors in King Saud Universities and Al Imam
Muhammad ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh for review and comments before it was presented to the
Commission on Higher Education in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao for evaluation and approval. WISHES makes use of selected Islamic textbooks based on authentic sources, mostly published by the famous publishers of Islamic books in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Dar-us-Salam Publications and the International Islamic Publishing House. Based on the first guide to read, WISHES adopts a methodology that students are made to read, understand and review the electronic books. It does not have actual instructor to deliver lectures but we have selected the best of Islamic videos available in the internet relevant to every subject being offered. One reason is we can not expect every instructor/professor to be ready at all times so there is a chance that he/she will misquote a verse or hadeeth. So to avoid any error, students are required to read, study their textbooks and take the online examinations. Aside from this, they are required to make an exhaustive but brief book review of every textbook in all subjects. As to the videos, we see to it that the presenter/lecturer of the video is based on the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Students are also asked to briefly summarize, review and make comments with proofs from authentic sources of the videos. By exposing them to renown Muslim speakers who are actually doing da’wah (inviting people to
Islam), they learn at the same time the art of public speaking. In short, WISHES teaching methodology trains students to be analytical enough to learn how to read, write and speak on Islam according to the
Qur’an and the Sunnah. In this way, they do not only develop right aqeedah (firm belief), personality development but also to do da’wah (invite others to Islam) both in writing and in speech.
Alhamdulillah, we have already graduates who are equipped to be writers and du’aat (propagators) of this perfect religion from Allah. Allah has blessed my children (Abdur Rahman, Ahmad and Mariam) to be among the graduates of WISHES. All of them were born, raised and educated from nursery to High School in Saudi Arabia and now sharing their knowledge of Islam as teachers and supervisors in Wisdom Islamic
School, Davao City, Philippines. Ahmad serves as the Imam in our mosque and sometimes his younger brother Abdur Rahman takes over when he is not around. All of them are also actively doing da’wah, supporting Al-Hikmah Global a da’wah non-profit organization , which their father organized with the mission to help propagate Islam worldwide – all for the sole pleasure of Allah the Almighty.
