Exodus to Shanghai is based on real events and real stories, in memory of Fannia Morgenstern, the mother of FashionTV president, Michel Adam. Dr. Ho the hero stands up to the enemy Exodus to Shanghai is a new project for Michel Adam, who was inspired during a Sabbath meal with the local Shanghai Rabbi who was recounting a story about an extraordinary man known as the Chinese Schindler. This period in time had always been an interest for Michel Adam, and it was of great interest for him to tell the stories of real-life characters of Jewish heritage who he met on the multiple journeys from Vienna to China, especially Shanghai. The main character of inspiration and dedication of the film is Michel Adams mother, Fannia who left Europe for Palestine, and pursued her path of survival during the war and Dr. Ho, the unsung hero. The film is an opportunity to tell the tale of a true protagonist, Dr. Ho, who saved thousands of Jews from their fate, a topic of relevance today, as the end of WWII reaches its 70 Anniversary.
