The University believes that an applicant’s ability to succeed in their chosen course goes beyond a single academic score. As such, the University has set an indicative ATAR of 70.00 for most general courses. Some courses such as double degrees and the Bachelor of Laws require a higher indicative ATAR. We encourage all applicants considering the University to apply, irrespective of their ATAR or HSC score, as alternative entry pathways are available for students who have not met the direct minimum entry requirements into Bachelor programs. Students are interviewed as part of the Notre Dame admissions process. Students should see this as an opportunity to seek information about the University and their proposed course of study, and to discuss options such as majors and minors. Young Achievers Early Offer Program Students demonstrating commitment to, and excellence in, community work or cultural, sporting and academic pursuits can apply to secure a 2016 offer to the University prior to completing their Year 12 studies. Students should see their careers adviser for more information, or call the University on (02) 8204 4404.
