ABOUT
The Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of MiamiDade County and Broadway Across America –
Miami are proud to present the new live stage show Go, Diego, Go Live! The Great Jaguar Rescue on June
14 and 15.
Featuring Diego, his sister Alicia, and cousin Dora the Explorer – stars of the awardwinning bilingual
Nick Jr. television show “Go, Diego, Go!” this new show is an interactive highstakes quest through tropical forests and a raging river to find Baby Jaguar’s growl and kick off the Animale Carnivale, the biggest party of the year!
In this Broadwaystyle production, audience members sing, do the chacha, travel down a rainforest river, and learn how each of us is special in our own way. Every child in the audience gets their own Jaguar mask, which they then use to help rescue animals during the show. The show also includes familiar songs from the TV show, plus 12 original new songs created exclusively for the live show by the songwriting team of George Noriega and
Joel Someillanthe creators of the music for “Go, Diego, Go!” on TV. The show was created by the team who brought us the recordbreaking Dora the Explorer Live , which was seen by over 3 million people. The lead role of kids’ favorite adventurer Diego is played by Jesse Carrion, who recently starred in the 2007 national touring production of Rent and the original play The Lockdown Club at the Stella Adler Theater in Los Angeles.
