Northland Security Systems 3200 North 22nd Street Springfield IL 62102 EMPLOYEE PERFORMANCE Work Performance Standards Some wWork performance standards are written statements of the results and/or behavior expected of an employee when his or her job elements are satisfactorily performed under existing working conditions. Each employee in a permanent position must be provided with a current set of work performance standards for his or her position. Employment Records Your personnel file is maintained in the human resources department at the main office of Northland Security Systems. The human resources department maintains a file with copies of the documentation in your specific department. Your file includes personnel action documents, mandatory employment forms, your performance evaluations, and documentation of disciplinary action. Your file may include letters of commendation, training certificates, or other work-related documents that your supervisor has requested to be included in your file. Performance Evaluation If you are serving a six-month (full-time equivalent) probationary period, your supervisor will evaluate your performance at the end of the second and fifth months. If you are completing a one-year probationary period, your evaluations will be conducted at the end of the third, seventh, and eleventh month. You will receive a copy of each performance report. Once you have attained permanent employee status, your performance will be evaluated annually during the month prior to your pay progression date. Each evaluation will include a discussion between you and your supervisor to review and clarify goals and methods to achieve them. The evaluation will also include a written report of your progress on the job. Evaluations will be made with reference to established work performance standards.
