One of the major factors which almost every respondent was satisfied with was the level
of collegiality and the feeling of camaraderie among most faculty. They have positively highlighted
the quality of faculty governance and faculty-to-faculty support prevailing in their department. This
has promoted a very positive and rewarding work environment. It was reported to have unified all
of them under the sole intention of working towards improving the department, students, and the
university. The strong sense of camaraderie was thought to be used to energetically and
efficiently pursue goals.

This factor has been of moderate concern. The faculty is satisfied with the fact that there
is support available for research activities and that the campus environment is becoming more
conducive to experiential learning. However, there has been emphasis on the fact that there
should be enough intensity in the research and development of programs of eminence.

The library resources have been considered to be a boon to students. The availability of
library and technological resources to academically disadvantaged students has been considered
as one of the best things that ISU could offer to its students.

Students have been a major factor for most of the faculty teaching in ISU. The faculty has
appreciated the quality of graduate students and the fact that a lot of students are hard working,
earnest and have an inclination towards learning more. This has been reported as the reason
why most of them love teaching.
The faculty has in mind only those interests which are best suited for the students. There
is a general commitment to student welfare among the faculty of ISU and to diversity with respect
to foreign students. This creates a sense of bonding between the minorities and their professors.

faculty members who have taken this survey seem to be satisfied with teaching. They enjoy
teaching students and are solely dedicated to it. The focus is to learn and teach, and this they
believe will definitely help in making a difference in the community as a whole. Having a chance
to teach and seeing in what way a teacher can influence students was perceived as very
challenging and at the same time motivating.
