Have Mercy! from Stanly County, NC is a band that delivers sincere, positive
and rocking blues and rock music that you will not hear from any other band
in North Carolina. This band plays inspirational gospel and positive blues
music that is significant and relevant to our audience and our world. We are
passionate musicians who seek to use our music to make a difference in
people's lives. Our unique blend of blues, old time rock and roll and
inspirational originals will energize your soul.
For all people, the music and show of Have Mercy! is a family-friendly way to
have fun. Promoters and spectators don’t have to worry about any offensive
or questionable lyrical content. All our songs are suitable for everyone of any
age. The members of Have Mercy! are dedicated, seasoned musicians who
are true virtuosos on their instruments. Have Mercy! not only plays their
emotional blues with precision and enthusiasm, but also engage their
audience to heighten the experience of their show.
Have Mercy! is available for private parties, festivals, coffeehouses, biker
rallies, restaurants, clubs and church shows as part of a special blues night,
concerts or a Blues and BBQ festival .

Mike Marcela (Huntersville, NC):
Mike is a veteran of a number of bands including Ps147, Eastern Sky, and Led
Zephaniah. He has played music on and off for the past 25 years. He writes original
Christian Blues and plays an original 1956 Hammond Organ. Mike’s keyboard and
vocal influences include Gregg Allman, BB King, Billy Powell (Lynyrd Skynyrd) and
Billy Joel.
Danny DeaL (Red Cross, NC);
Danny is a guitar player extraordinaire. He too is a veteran of several local bands
such as Good Courage, Miracle Max, and Ps147. Danny writes Christian rock and
blues songs. His influences include Creedence Clearwater Revival, Stevie Ray
Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix.
Chris harwood (Oakdale, NC):
Chris is a multi-instrumentalist who picked up the bass to join Have Mercy! He
brings a strong country influence to the band. His deep baritone voice can be heard
singing lead on his original Christian blues songs and some country blues gems. His
influences include Creedence Clearwater Revival, Johnny Cash, Aaron Shust and
gospel favorites
Doug Hill (Trinity, NC):
Doug is the newest member of Have Mercy! He is a veteran drummer from
numerous professional and part-time bands. Doug is having a great time playing t
his type of music to glorify God. His influences include Southern gospel music,
classic Southern Rock and blues music
