My name is Kerri McGrail, and I have had a lot of experience
providing services to many different children and adults, with a
variety of different needs. I graduated from Neuqua Valley High
School in 2012 and am now a current student at Xavier
University, majoring in special education. I have provided
Respite Care to a young woman with Cerebral Palsy. I have also
worked a Special Recreation Summer Camp working with
children with various special needs. I worked mainly with
Autistic children, but also worked with children with behavioral
issues, such as ODD, as well as children with physical
disabilities such as blood disorders. Working directly with an
Occupational Therapist, I was able to work with two sisters who
were attached at the head. Working with the girls, we were able
to work on new techniques they could use to make their daily
activities more achievable. Throughout the past few years, I
have been able to learn through new experiences and
opportunities.

I am a part-time waiver-services provider whose main career is as a
private music teacher. While the two may seem disparate, the
common thread that I find engaging in both occupations is the

well. I’ve been an independent home care nurse through the Ohio Home Care Program since 2001, caring
for individuals in their preferred environment (at home). My company accepts TDD Waiver reimbursement as
well as regular Waiver. I have had the opportunity to serve clients of all ages, in all health care settings
with various health conditions. I am not partial to any particular age group; but I find one-on-one care
most rewarding. There are no medical restrictions placed on me as it relates to my physical ability to
provide total care to clients’; but my allergies to cigarette smoke and pets tend to limit my options in
residential settings. In other words, I am a non-smoker and must work in a smoke-free, pet-free
environment.

very conscientious about providing

Once I agree to work a shift or

to be there. My husband and I
have no dependents at home and I
am able to fill-in for other members

RMS operates three adult day programs.
RMS Day Services, with a location in Finneytown and Mt. Washington, is a recreational program with an emphasis on sensory
needs and autism.
The Autism Transition Center, located in North College Hill, supports individuals with autism to strengthen academic skills, learn independent living skills, self regulate behavior, and engage in their
community.
All three programs serve individuals with challenging behaviors.

Blissful Days LLC is a day program specializes in providing customized services to meet each person’s medical, behavioral, and
personal needs. Our goal is to assist individuals in reaching their maximum independence level and reintegrating them in the
community. Blissful Days mission is to provide accessible, reliable, safe, and affordable services to individuals with disabilities,
their families, and caregivers.
About Us
At Blissful Days day program we serve individuals 18 and over with developmental disabilities (including autism, ADHD, and
other behavioral and emotional disabilities). By providing individualized programs that focus on supporting the development
of continuing education, job skills, related social behaviors, and communication
Blissful Days program hours of operation will be Monday thru Friday from 8am until 3pm with lunch from 11:30 to 12.
Transportation for all activities off site will be provided by Blissful Days.

Latron, a student with autism, found his when Zenk Nuseibeh introduced him to the
piano when he was 16. Now, as an adult, Latron still doesn’t speak volumes with words,
but his phrasing at the piano says it all. In just a few short years, he has developed a skill
that allows him to share his emotions with the world. He studies pieces independently
and through lessons at the CCM Preparatory Department and has played in recitals and
concerts all over Greater Cincinnati.
Daniel, a student with Down Syndrome, literally found his voice in guitar group. When
he began his music lessons he was working to communicate through sign language. Now, in
rehearsals and performances, the structure of music helps him sing lyrics…with rhythm!
Every individual has a voice that needs to be heard and the price of music therapy based
lessons should not stifle that voice. Melodic Connections seeks to take prohibitive cost out
of the equation by offering low to no cost lessons to students age 7 through adult. Find
your voice, or help a loved one find theirs, through musical performance!
