Kevin Krueger and Andy Mleziva – co-owners of KNM – are pleased to announce plans to add a 6,000-square-foot facility to their existing 6,000-square-foot facility and add greater capacity to support their manufacturing customer base needs. The expansion will provide needed work space for current employees and allow room for additional growth. Also included in the expansion is the addition of fabrication equipment to meet current and future customer needs. According to Peter Wills, Executive Director of Progress Lakeshore (Manitowoc County’s economic development organization): “KNM has fulfilled the entrepreneurial spirit of a business that has grown from working out of their garage to becoming a leading provider of machining services.” A local Manitowoc business in operation since 2005, KNM offers full-service CNC machining, CNC vertical & horizontal milling, rotary surface grinding, and tool & die making. Industrial maintenance services are also offered, including onsite installation, machine guarding, electromechanical services, certified electrician, certified welding, machine building, machine repair, millwright services and preventive maintenance. KNM partnered with United One Credit Union and A.C.E. Building Service for a turnkey construction project including local subcontractors to complete additional tasks.
