CRAIG GRIFFIN BIOGRAPHY Craig Griffin was born in Melbourne, Australia, to Diane Griffin and John Frederick Griffin, an Engineer. He is the oldest of two children. His parents, both Australian, are honest and hardworking people of Irish, English and Dutch ancestry. Like many Australian teenagers of the 1980s, Craig Griffin was influenced by a fascination with Australian and American television, movies and rock music which attracted him to the entertainment industry and show-business. Craig Griffin graduated from the highly acclaimed The Warehouse Workshop Screen Acting Studio’s ‘Film and Television Internship’ under the expert guidance of Tom McSweeney CSA/CGA to achieve his goal of reaching the pinnacles of professional acting. Craig Griffin has also trained with the Acting Teacher, friend and mentor of Hugh Jackman, esteemed Acting Teacher Dean Carey and has completed the Dustin Hoffman Acting Masterclasses. Craig Griffin has studied a wide variety of acting techniques, ranging from Practical Aesthetics, Sanford Meisner, Lee Strasberg and Ivana Chubbuck as well as completing a host other and ongoing training. Craig Griffin has notable roles including the Mafia Boss, Don Antonio, in Project One Shot and the lead role in romantic drama Broken Together as well as television and commercial work. Well-spoken, intelligent and professional, he believes his love of films and storytelling creates the necessary dynamics to successfully bring stories to life and bring a unique and genuine screen presence to characters. Craig is a proud member of the Australian Film Institute (AFI) as well as the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts (AACTA). Griffin is happily married to his best friend Joanne Royal-Griffin and also enjoys Bass Guitar, education, philanthropy and keeping fit in his very limited spare time.
