Griffin Named Executive Director of Auxiliary Services
Dr. Bill Griffin was named Executive Director of Auxiliary Services for Alexander County School
System beginning July 2015. Dr. Griffin will be responsible for Human Resources, the Alternative
Learning Program (ALP), Digital Learning, School Safety, and Driver Education.
He recently served as the principal of Hudson Middle School from 2008 to 2015. He also
served as assistant principal of West Caldwell High School from 2004-2008. He graduated from
Gardner-Webb University with a Doctoral of Educational Leadership and a Master’s Degree in School
Administration. His undergraduate degree is from Appalachian State University.
Dr. Griffin resides in the Lower Creek Community of Caldwell County. He is a member of First
United Methodist Church of Lenoir. He enjoys spending time with his son, Gabe. Dr. Griffin is an
avid outdoorsman. He also enjoys all athletic sporting events.
