Introduction: Make your
Thesis your first sentence,
adding, "for three reasons."
Now write your three proofs as
complete sentences.
Proofs Paragraph: Write the
proofs, starting with "The first
reason [thesis] was…" "The
second reason [thesis] was…"
etc.
Conclusion: One sentence.
"[Thesis] because…" followed by
the three proofs. Check that your
essay is double-spaced
throughout, with the same
font/size throughout. Indent the
first line of each paragraph.
Have your parent check that your
essay conforms to the example essay
on Workbook p. 7. Print a copy to
bring to class.

blank ANI chart (if you bring your
Writing Guide to class, there are ANI
charts for each essay).

created yesterday, write a paragraph
about a wildflower of your choice;
and "dress it up" with interesting
