DHS Scholarship Program: o Undergraduates pursuing science/technology innovations that can apply to the DHS Mission. Award includes full tuition/fees, monthly stipend plus a 10-week summer internship researching in a DHS-related area. DHS HS-STEM Summer Internship Program: o A 10-week summer research experience for undergraduates majoring in homeland security related science, technology, engineering and mathematics (HS-STEM) disciplines. Research as per DHS relevant areas at federal research facilities. $500 stipend each week plus transportation expenses included. DEADLINE: JANUARY 5, 2010 Summer Research Team Program for Minority Serving Institutions: o Opportunity to increase scientific leadership at Minority Serving Institutions in research areas supporting the mission/goals of DHS. Attend a 10-week summer internship doing research at a DHS Center of Excellence. Stipend award plus transportation expenses.
