• The park allows festival seating in any of the
open public areas during the concerts.
• Guests may bring low-back chairs or standard sized blankets, but belongings must be attended
at all times.
• The park is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• There is no standing or loitering on walkways
as fire code regulations require they be clear
at all times.

concerts for a unique water’s-eye-view of Marina del

Emerging opera stars from the Loren L. Zachary
National Vocal Competition will perform along the
water in arias and ensembles from best-loved operas
in this always popular concert. Maestro Frank Fetta
conducts the Marina del Rey Symphony.

Danza
Ballet Folklórico de Los Angeles joins the Marina
del Rey Symphony to bring to life the orchestra’s
performances of Maurice Ravel’s Bolero, José Pablo
Moncayo’s Huapango, Mozart Carmargo Gaurnieri’s
Dança Brasileira, and Genaro Codina’s Zacatecas
March. The orchestra will also perform Carlos
Chávez’s ode to Mexican culture, Sinfonía india
(Symphony No. 2).

features a fully staged opera production as Maestro
Frank Fetta leads the Marina del Rey Symphony in
performing Ruggero Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci. Set in Italy,
the opera tells the tale of a fatal love triangle brought
to a tragic end. Stage direction is by Zeffin Quinn
Hollis.
