Scriptures to Pray for Those Who Do Not Know Christ
Holy God, I pray that You would grant genuine repentance to
,a
repentance that will cause him/her to hate sin and to turn from it. Acts 11:8; Luke 13:1-3
Lord God, I pray that You would grant
genuine faith, a faith that trusts in Jesus
alone and surrenders to Him as Lord and Savior. Ephesians 2:8-10
From Amanda Plants (12/2): First off, I have a praise – I was able to win one case against my
landlord. However, he is now retaliating. Please continue to pray for me and my kids to find a
new home to move into. Please pray for a friend, an elderly man, who is losing his eyesight
and has to have another surgery. Also, please pray for my cousin in Redding who has cancer.
Pray for healing and for wisdom for the doctors to determine the best course of treatment.
Thank you.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and
petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the
peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts
and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7
From Jacque Smith (12/1): It's a no go. They couldn't aspirate the cyst...please pray that his
spirits would lift. He's really disappointed. Thank you for your prayers
Original Request (11/24): Please pray for travel safety as we travel next Monday to
UCSF. Jimmy is scheduled for a procedure on Tuesday to drain the large cysts behind his
spine/sacrum that are probably putting pressure on his sciatic nerve and hopefully the reason
for his pain the last year or so (and not his cancer!). Please pray for skillful hands for the Dr.,
peace for Jimmy (and me), that his pain will be relieved and that fluid will not build back up
in the cysts after the procedure. Thank you all for all your prayers. Jimmy has been feeling
better (except for this pain).
Update on Nate Hartman from Sharie Cook (11/24): Nate had a doctor’s appointment
yesterday (11/23) and was told he has to stay in bed for 4 more weeks so his leg will heal
properly. He’s not happy about this as he is normally very active. Pray that he will have
patience and understanding on why he needs to be still for so long. If you would like to visit
him, he would enjoy that and probably talk your ear off . You can call my parent’s (Dennis
& Daphne Hartman) @ 442-3236 to schedule a time to visit.
Original Request (11/10): Please pray for my nephew, Nate. On Saturday, November 7 he
was jumping his bike in the woods near his house with some friends and ended up breaking
his right femur. He had surgery on Sunday and is now at my parent’s house recovering. He
can’t put any weight on his leg for a while so he is getting lots of bedrest and learning how to
get around in a wheelchair. His leg will be in a cast for 6-8 weeks. Please pray for Nate, for
my parents as they take care of him, for Matt & Magen, and for Stormy, Lydia, and Caroline.
Prayer Requests from Sunday, November 22:
 Thank you all for the prayers for my step-mom, Mary, and her big move to Missouri. She
likes it and is adjusting well. Please continue to pray for my mom Althea’s health. Please
pray for my son, Sean. Thank you, Leslie Cannafax
 Can you pray for Marty, who is mentally ill and on the streets? Thank you, Tom Pacheco
 Please pray for an unspoken prayer request. Please pray for Chuck, my nephew, on his walk
with the Lord. Thank you, Jeanne Stanley
From Jean Ziesak (11/17): Hardy had a minor heart attack on Monday (11/16) morning.
He had a stent put in today (11/17) and doctors are hopeful that this will solve the problem
permanently. Please pray for him as he recovers. Thank you.
From Amanda Plants (11/17): Please pray for me and my 3 boys to find a house or apartment to rent within the next week. We are having extreme difficulty with our current landlord
and have to be out of our current place within a week. Please pray that we will be able to find
something. Thank you.
Prayer Request from Sunday, November 15:
 Pray for Bob, that he would come back to Jesus. Thank you, Jeanne Stanley
