Turtle Beach THE CHALLENGE: A long‐time client of TDC, Turtle Beach enlisted our help in upgrading their existing 3‐button, 3‐headset unit. Turtle Beach stressed the importance of having a display that provided an interactive user experience. The previous kiosk did not allow the user to interact with the individual products. THE SOLUTION: The redesigned kiosks for GameStop provided a personalize user experience by allowing consumers to immerse themselves in the game. This was achieved through the development of a custom engineered sound board built into the display. Through the use of push buttons, consumers were given the freedom to create their own gaming experience and choose the headset and game trailer they listened to and watched. All of the components were designed and engineered to allow for multiple updates in the field throughout the lifetime of the display. TDC has a team in place that is readily available to troubleshoot any issues that may arise in the retail environment. Interactive Kiosk IMPLEMENTATION: Kiosk installations were completed over a short period of time, simultaneously in some locations, and placed in thousands of GameStop US Stores, EB Games in Canada and various retailers throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Throughout implementation, TDC collaborated with several distribution centers and installation partners across the world partners to ensure seamless retail placement. RESULTS: Implementation of the redesigned kiosk resulted in increased sales for Turtle Beach.
