In paragraph (e) of the said section the words" or
in which young journeymen are employed" are repealed,
and in paragraphs (j) and (g) the words" or employment
as young journeymen" are, respectively, repealed.
12. In section fifty-two of the Principal Act the Amendment
words" young journeyman," occurring in paragraph (d) of s. 52.
of subsection one, and the words "young journeymen,"
occurring in paragraph (f) of subsection one, are repealed.
13. Section fifty-three of the Principal Act is Amendment
amended, as follows :_

The words" young journeyman," where those words
twice occur therein, are repealed.
14. Wherever in the Principal Act reference is Const.ru<;tion
made to *" The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration tc~rmC1pal
Act of 1929," such reference shall be and be deemed to be
a reference to t" The I ndu,strial Conciliation and
Arbitration Acts, 1932 to 1934" (or any Act amending
or in substitution for the same), and the Principal Act
shall be read and construed and amended accordingly.

qnd by the authority of the same,as follows:1. This Act may be cited as "The Industrial Short title
Conciliation and Arbitration Act Amendment Act of~~~struction.
1934," and shall be read as one with t" The Industrial
Conciliation and Arbitration Act of 1932," herein referred
to as the Principal Act.
The Principal Act and this Act may collectively be
cited as "The Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration
Acts, 1932 to 1934."

the several Acts referred to in such Acts or any Order in
Council made under any such Act shall prejudice or
affect this Act or any award made thereunder on or
after the first day of October, one thousand nine hundred
and thirty-four, in respect of persons employed by the
Government; and in the making of any such award
the provisions of the first-mentioned Acts or any Order
in Council thereunder shall be entirely disregarded to
the intent that such award shall be made as if such
first-mentioned Acts or any Order in Council thereunder
had not been passed, promulgated, or in force:
Provided nothing hereinbefore contained in this
subsection shall prejudice or affect the provisions of
such first-mentioned Acts or any Order in Council made
or to be made thereunder in relation to any person
employed by the Government (whether an officer as
defined in t" The Salarie8 Act of' 1930" or an officer
within the meaning of subsection. three of section three
of *" The Financial Emergency Act of 1931 ") who is for
the time being in receipt of a salary within the meaning
of t" The Salarie8 Act of 1930" of an amount exceeding
five hundred pounds per annum, and whether fixed by
any such award or not."
