Survey on my classmates’ behavior in producing waste

Land pollution is a serious environmental problem in the world.
Every day, we produce a lot of waste which intensify the problem of
land pollution in Hong Kong. In order to investigate the problem, I
did a survey on my classmates’ behavior in producing waste. I
interviewed my classmates in this survey.
After collecting the data, I found that we used a lot of tissue
papers every day. The reason is that we used tissue papers but not
handkerchief when we sneezed. I also found that we used a lot of
plastic bottles every day. It will cause serious land pollution when we
throw away plastic bottles.
This survey shows that our behavior contributes to the amount of
waste. I suggest our classmates should bring our own water bottles
every day when we go out. We should also use our own
handkerchiefs when we sneeze. These can help to reduce the number
of waste and save the environment.
