MEETINGS AND ACTIVITIES FOR 2014
 (Preventive Health Education For the Barangay Health Workers)
 Our 1st Barangay Health Worker Seminar was held at the Muntinlupa Sports
Complex on February 26, 2014. It was attended by a total of 100 participants. It
was conducted by the officers of the Pamunlas Chapter
 Topics included PTB, Leptospirosis, Dengue Fever, Diabetes, Hypertension,
Kidney Diseases, Acute Gastroenteritis
 Asian Hospital Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine in cooperation
with PCP-PAMUNLAS Chapter Post Graduate Seminar. Theme: “Twelve Things
You Need to Know as an Internist”
 The Department of Medicine of Asian Hospital and Medical Center and the
PAMUNLAS Chapter has successfully organized and conducted a Post
Graduate Seminar held at Palms Country Club on March 13-14, 2014.
This was attended by internist from different hospitals and medical
residents in training of the 3 training institutions.

1st PCP-PAMUNLAS Inter-Hospital Medical Grand Rounds (University of
Perpetual Dalta Medical Center
 The first inter-hospital medical grand rounds was held at the University of
Perpetual Hospital Dalta Medical Center on March 22, 2014 and was
participated by the residents in training of Las Piñas Doctors Hospital,
Medical Center Muntinlupa Inc. and Perpetual Hospital Dalta Medical
Center.

 1st Critical Appraisal Technique Seminar (Diagnostic and Therapeutic)
 The Critical Appraisal Techinque was conducted by Dr. Nemencio A.
Nicodemus Jr., Dr. Adrian Rabe and Dr. Diana Lachica, held at 7th Floor
Medical Arts Building Las Piñas Doctors Hospital on April 26,2014 and
was participated by the residents in training of Las Piñas Doctors Hospital,
Medical Center Muntinlupa and University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical
Center.


 Free Immunization with Measles and Rubella for 120 Barangay Health
Workers of Muntinlupa held at 5th floor Conference hall Medical Center
Muntinlupa Inc. on May 30,2014
 Free Immunization with Measles and Rubella for 100 Medical Center
Muntinlupa Staff Muntinlupa, held at 5th floor Conference Hall Medical
Center Muntinlupa Inc. on June 2 and 11,2014

2nd Inter-Hospital Medical Grand Rounds (Medical Center Muntinlupa Inc.)
 The 2nd Inter Hospital Medical Grand Rounds was held at Medical Center
Muntinlupa Inc. on June 28, 2014 and was participated by the Officers of
PAMUNLAS, Consultants and Residents in training of Las Piñas Doctors
Hospital, and University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center and
Medical Center Muntinlupa, Inc.
 Topic : Post-Streptococcal Glomerulonephritis
Presentor: Dr. Maria Imelda L. Africa (3rd year resident- MCMI)
Resource Person: Dr Rolando Macalalag and Dr. Rudi Joy Laraño

 Attended by the PCP Pamunlas Chapter officers, members, and residents
in training of Medical Center Muntinlupa, Inc, Las Piñas Doctors Hospital and
University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center
 Guest Speaker: Dr. Chad Rey Carungin
 Dr. Mary Ervie Boongaling of Medical Center Muntinlupa garnered 1st
place in the PAMUNLAS 1st Inter-Hospital Interesting Case Contest

 Dr. Joanavi M. Ordoña of Medical Center Muntinlupa Inc. was awarded
2nd Place in the PAMUNLAS 1st Inter-Hospital Interesting Case Contest

3rd Inter-Hospital Medical Grand Rounds (Las Piñas Doctors Hospital)
 The 3rd Inter Hospital Medical Grand Rounds was held at 7th Floor
Conference Hall Medical Arts Building Las Piñas Doctors Hospital on
September 20, 2014 and was participated by the Officers of PAMUNLAS,
Consultants and Residents in training of Medical Center Muntinlupa Inc.,
University of Perpetual Help Dalta Medical Center, and Las Piñas Doctors
Hospital.
 Topic: Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)

Health Education Reform Order (HERO)
 The HERO Program was held at Lakeview Elementary on School on
September 12, 2014 and was attended by 235 Grade VI Students.
 Topics included Dengue Fever, Leptospirosis, Wellness Nutrition, and
Exercises
 Medical Center Muntinlupa Inc. in cooperation with PAMUNLAS Chapter
 Medical Mission was held at 5th floor Conference Hall Medical Center
Muntinlupa on September 26, 2014 which catered to 100 patients
 Services included Free Fasting Blood Sugar, Electrocardiogram
Spirometry, Foot Screening, Free Consultations and Medications
 Las Piñas Doctors Hospital Medical Mission in cooperation with PAMUNLAS
Chapter
 Medical Mission was held at Las Piñas Doctors Hospital on
September 28,2014 which catered to 150 patients
 Services included Free Fasting Blood Sugar, Total Cholesterol, and
Electrocardiogram,Free Consultations and Medications
 Las Piñas Doctors Hospital in cooperation with PAMUNLAS Chapter
Health Education Reform Order (HERO)
 Held at the adopted school community at CAA Elementary School, Las
Piñas on October 17,2014
 There were 65 participants comprising of Grade VI Students Topics
included Hepatitis A, Dengue Fever, Leptospirosis, Malaria,
Lecturer: Dr. Maria Christina Mangubat and Dr. Lalaine Monton
 Residency-in-Training Examination (RITE)
 Held at Las Piñas Doctors Hospital on October 12, 2014, facilitated by
PAMUNLAS officers.
 There were 29 examinees from the participating training institutions of
PAMUNLAS Chapter.

 Dr. Erwin Carabeo Dr. Jerry Castro and Dr Tyrone Francis Coseip visited
to City Hall of Parañaque on November 10, 2014 to discuss projects of
PAMUNLAS Chapter with the community of Parañaque.

Las Piñas, held on November 7, 2014 with attendees comprising of Grade
VI & VII Students.

 Celebrated on December 6, 2014 was held at PAMUNLAS Chapter
President Dr. Agustin Ceniza’s House in Ayala Alabang Village.

 The Inter-hospital Medical grand rounds was held at the University of
Perpetual Hospital Dalta Medical Center on March 21, 2015 and was
